I stopped reading at Fromm. That’s ridiculous.

This does point to the short-term, long-term dilemma Mullen faces. We’re returning a classic drop back who, as it turns out, is pretty good.

How are we going to make this work if we don’t improve the running game?

Well, for one he could adapt the run game and quit hardheadedly clinging to the option game w fvkking Kyle Trash on the field.

But not likely.

or he could just throw the ball from the outset like you did the last came or two and stop wasting the first three quarters of the game trying to establish the option run.

But not likely.

It is Fields trophy to lose next season.

I hate OSU, but to see the mass sky-screaming by UGA fans with him lifting a Natty trophy this year followed by a Heisman next would be so enjoyable to see.

The QB out as a running threat poses a problem absent a solid OL. He’s faced with schematic issues going into 2020.

His scheme sucks and he should know it by now, but his scheme with a pocket statue QB guarantees running backs getting hit in the backfield, period.

hopefully he will abandon it completely other than occasional draw play, which I've never seen from him other than a q draw, or until the defense pulls men out of the box to defend the pass.

At Law:

I don’t recall a draw the last two years. I do recall a ton of those irritating delayed handoffs at the line of scrimmage, as if the QB and runner were struggling with the handoff.

lolol.... brother, those are options, we the QB reading someone, usually the end.

@cover2 or someone these guys trust, please tell them what 80-90% of our runs plays are. They seriously dont believe me it seems. Or theyd rather just stick their fingers in their ears and say "na na na na" to avoid it for some reason.

We did run some inside outside zone too, which are not options and which do require the play to develop, the back to tale some stutter steps and to read a hole to take.

IMO our OL is decent at running the option (w EJ) and passing blocking, and terrible at ozzy/izzy.

As for draws both Giraffe and Trash ran some effective QDraws, usually based on box count audibles or reads though.

Yeah, LSU ran a few of those options against Georgia. It seldom gets anywhere. Don’t like the play.

Hopefully, SEC defenses begin to loosen up against us out of respect for what Trask can do through their air.
