Sheesh, writers creating a narrative.
How's that theory working for Alabama, Clemson and the BuckNutz?
Those are not really comparable situations. Bama has 8 of the top 10 players in their state. OSU has only 3 of the top 10, but, using the 247 composite, there are only 6 blue chippers in the whole state (with the top 2 committed to OSU). Clemson is similar to OSU in that there are only 5 BC's in SoCar - with none of them currently committed to Dabo. The #1 is yet to commit but may pick Clemson. The state of Georgia on the other hand has 38 BC's with only 4 of them committed to Ugly. Failure to dominate their state in the long term will come back to bite them as it means rival schools like UF, USCe, Tinerc, Barn, Bama, and Ga Tech, will sign them instead. I'd rather UF sign a 5* or 4* from Florida than one from say Ohio. The Ohio kid will more than likely not be a guy we face for four years; the Florida kid more often will be.
