10 wins is mediocrity? Mediocrity is FSU and Miami. Mullen is supposedly a 7-5 coach, I haven't seen that. Step away from the ledge and man up and get on with your life. Life is too short to hang your hopes and life on recruiting 18 year old kids that change their mind when they see a hot brunette coed pass by them.

We won 10. Then we won 11. (In a couple weeks). Next year we beat the shyt of Ga and win the East and possibly the SEC.

Nobody praises the dwags like Gator message board fanatics. Yet if that underachieving coach and teams were ours we would be shredding them to pieces.

Year 3 will be fun. I like what we’re putting together. On track.

I’m not quite as rosy as you are but I appreciate the optimism.

I'll say that the DL concentration was nice. Because, watching that line get pushed around by the mini-planetoids on that uGay OL was purely infuriating.

Since the introduction of the full BCS (95-97 bowl alliance) which shifted to the playoffs:
FSU 2
OSU 2
LSU 2 (maybe three after this year)
UF 2
USC 2
Alabama 5
Clemson 2 (maybe three after this year)

So in 20 years 7 teams have done it, because unlike previously the path is more defined.
Are you serious with this? 4 of the 7 teams' championships were won by multiple coaches. I'm not arguing if a school can multiple. I said it was an anomaly for a head coach to win multiple titles.

The recruiting is FAR from over. We still have until February and also the transfer portal. The transfer portal is the new recruiting 2nd chance lifeline and doesn't even factor into recruiting rankings. Let me know when Mr 7-5 is actually 7-5 at UF. Some said this year we would be and we are 10-2 so that was a disappointment for some it would seem.

If he wants to just be top ten we better settle in for top ten

Your argument and your counting are off:
UF 2 - Meyer
USC 2 - Carroll
Clemson 2 - Dabo
Alabama 5 - Saban

So 4 of 7 were multiple coaches?

So 11 out of 20 years, and your argument is again? That it can't happen and is an anomaly?

Could be wrong. I'm going off of what I've read on here from a couple of posters who follow the recruits themselves more than I do. I was under the impression, he was almost more a Corner/WR/Athlete than true Safety. Maybe I misunderstood.

I know the Britt part. That seems like a no brainer with where we are in our WR recruiting. Should at least promise to give him a shot and go from there. But I thought the general thinking was that he isn't a WR and will end up back at S.

Yesterday was a disappointment not landing any of the four we were trying to get. However, the class is still solid and will be even better if we can add: 1 RB, Beckwith, and 1 WR. If we miss on a WR, we move Britt, especially if we land A. Williams. Nothing we can do about the staff right now, but hopefully we see a change or two moving into 2021 class.

@Swamp Donkey @ltraz @TheDouglas78 I don't think you disagree with me so much as you're turned off by my rational thinking. You guys rather complain about everything and pretend you know how to fix things. When in reality you're just being over emotional fans.
You guys lament all the time how we need to make coaching changes. At the same time you say how Mullen won't fire anyone. Well get over yourselves. The guy that gets paid to make decisions decides not to make changes, what are you gonna do about it? I know a little about football but that doesn't mean I know more than a professional coach. As if you could go coach the team. Personally I like your passion. But I know every time I post something you guys will dislike it. Everything's to the extreme with you. Let's fire everybody. Let's just hire guys that will come in and recruit. Let's just build the facility anywhere. None of this is reality. But that's how we think problems are solved.

What I’ve read elsewhere:

5* TE (17th) Darnell Washington
-Quiet on this front but let’s be real- not happening.
4* WDE (54th) Donnel Harris
-Trolled by Jimbo again.
4* S (55th) Avantae Williams
-Knox and English are primary recruiters. Going ahead and pencil him out.
4* WR (58th) Xzavier Henderson
-Read he’s all Clemson. No shot.
4* DT (140th) Timothy Smith
-Never a chance, no matter what you read.
5* Demarkus Bowman
-Same As Smith
4* EJ Smith
-Can’t fault him for Stanford
4* RB (145th) JoQuavious Marks
-Knox is a disaster.
4* RB (171st) Jahmyr Gibbs
-See Marks. No watch we miss all these guys with Seider.
4* WR (207) Jimmy Calloway
-Haven’t seen much.
4* OT (285) Jashua Braun
-:yay:
4* RB (302) Henry Parish
-awful far down the list but maybe. See Marks comment for further analysis.
4* S (332nd) Mordecai McDaniel
-:yay:
3* WDE (406th) Morven Joseph
-meh
3* DT (437th) Clyde Pinder
-good shot here since he didn’t sign. Fine I guess but was supposed to be just another guy after a good haul. Now heaven a prime target after spectacularly failing today. Dan needs to shake up the staff or he’ll never win a championship.

Donk not in shambles though. At least one poster got to celebrate yesterday.

Hey, That list is copywrited. You'll be hearing from my lawyers.
