The only thing more hilarious than Miami losing to FIA, Duke and Louisiana Tech over the past month is knowing they still owe Temple $4 million over the Diaz buyout.

With the escalating cost of doing business, it’s never been easier to fall into a death dive. I think you’re seeing Miami join FSU in that company. I’m seeing estimates as high as 24m for them to get out from underneath Diaz.

It was a stupid fvkking hire from the beginning. A coordinator no one else wanted, except Temple, who had failed at his last stints and who had just given up almost 50 points to Wisconsin. Just a joke hire.

And he was less of a joke than Enos.

Just shows the double-edged risk of going all emotional to the alumni well for answers. Diaz hasn’t a clue how to organize an offense.

That makes two Temple disasters for them.

24 million?? Holy sh!t I picked the wrong field to be in. How in the world would they come up with that kind of cheddar? Definitely not from ticket sales lol. Maybe Pitbull “Mr. 305 Mr World Wide” can bail them out.

That’s the total figure when you add up the Temple AND Miami buyouts coupled with the anticipated cost for a decent P5 replacement like a Cristobal. 24 big ones, which I doubt they have.

I wonder how many good recruits we could invite to be part of a winning SEC team rather than the U. Now I bet some would not meet our higher standards in various ways but it might be interesting to discussl.

Manny Diaz on his way out the door now? Who could replace him at Miami? Any splash hires for them? Michael Irvin? Warren Sapp? Ray Lewis?

I know you love football and I consider you one of our resident experts, but I have no idea how you enjoyed every second of that game. I was in a bar with a buddy of mine and occasionally looking up at the TV to see if the game was getting interesting. It never did and, I thought, was pretty unwatchable. La. Tech is a decent G5 team, but scUM had no business losing to them, let alone get shut out.

I know I have mentioned this before, but I literally have no clue how recruiting works. They looked like a far worse team than they did back in August. Were I a blue chip recruit and I watched that game I would have come away thinking that that coaching staff is clueless and there was no way I'd want any part of that program, yet they somehow have the #16 class and signed 11 4*s (and are in competition for some more).

And way more of the Florida top 25 and top 50 than we did.
