LSU should thump them badly unless Clemson has a pass rush we have not seen.?
What a continued condemnation of not believing in pass defense out in the midwest. All those passing TDs by Burrows.
Records busted against Oklahoma, Big12 Conference champs.
Oklahoma only one loss -- how many losses if they played in the SEC?

Fun fact: in three tries so far, no team that has beaten Oklahoma in the semifinals has gone on to win the championship game. But I think LSU does this time.

Lsu a 5 point favorite, with basically a home game. Figured Vegas would've had it a little higher.

Clemson can play defense, LSU not so much. A lot will be made about the juggernaut LSU offense matching up against the top-ranked defense (and #1 against the pass) in America.

I think it’ll boil down to how well LSU takes care of business against Clemson’s offense.

Everyone said Oklahoma had a juggernaut offense but they didn’t look too good until LSU subbed in late. Aranda with two weeks will shut down Clemson too.

LSU has been spotty on defense all season, esp against the pass. I see no reason to believe that’s going to change now.

For the most part I agree, but I have seen some steady improvement from the LSU defense the past 4 weeks or so. When healthy, they have an extremely talented secondary IMO, but they do not have the strong front 7 that we have all become accustomed to that has really been their strength that enhances their pass D. But the noticeable improvement in the front 7 has helped them get a little better on D.

speaking of defense the one thing I can't see Clemson doing is trying to get to Burrow with a 3 man rush. That will not work. I am not saying they will blitz willy-nilly, but they are going to have to constantly vary their looks in hopes of trying to make him somewhat uncomfortable, which I know is difficult to do.

Two things that make Burrow esp dangerous are his excellent footwork and his ability to slip danger and convert scrambles into big gainers. He’s surprisingly quick. No one has been able to contain him this season.
