I’ve been looking for progress. Tonight’s game will show progress if:

1. We show up clearly prepared and play hard.

2. Henderson’s absence doesn’t matter all that much.

3. We actually run the ball decently.

4. We absolutely dominate their OL.

I expect UVA to be ultra-hyped, prepared and intense. This is a program high for them.

If our guys waltz in thinking this game is no big deal, they will get smacked hard and could lose. Finish the year strong and build momentum for 2020.

Not too terribly hyped about this exhibition game against an undistinguished opponent, but when my Gators are playing in my backyard I feel obligated to go. I was kind of ambivalent about it but I've been to every game UF has played in South Florida since 1998, so I decided not to break that streak. Also decided not to break the bank on tickets, though. I went a little nosebleedy but at least I'll be right on the 50 and on Florida's side of the field. Section 318.

I figure this might be the case too, but just looking at ticket prices suggests the opposite. Someone posted a link to vivid seats for this game in the box. Gator sideline seats around the goalline start in the $200's. The same seats directly across the filed in the Uva section start in the $60-70 range. Guess their fans are not too excited, or there is a competing on campus history symposium on Thomas Jefferson that they just couldn't miss.

After seeing the "We're ready" arrival chant, I'm seeing that as testimony from these Gators of how sure they are of their performance leader Kyle Trask. I hope Kyle picks UVa apart. Hope his precise success causes the announcers say in admiration:
"What is it with these SEC QBs? Are they all of Heisman quality?"

I have a ton of respect for Mendenhall. Thought he’s one of the best g5 coaches hands down back before his move to Virginia. They really want this 10th win badly. I think it’ll be way closer than most think
