@d1champ99: I am truly blessed and thankful to be a Gator. The people who made this possible have changed my life. I am ready to do whatever it takes to become the best gator as a team player and student athlete. I know my Dad is excited for this , i want to maximize everything

His father is struggling with health issues and wishes to be closer to home, so hopefully he gets a waiver.

Lingard acknowledged that he wanted to play closer to home amidst his father's struggling health as reasons for his intention to transfer. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is about two hours from Lingard's home town of Orange City, FL.

A former co-worker of mine used to coach Lingard in pop warner. I watched a handful of his games back then and in high school. He’s a beast. Big, fast, explosive power. I’m glad he’s going to be a Gator.

What is his eligibility situation? Was he able redshirt in ‘18 or ‘19?

That would appear to satisfy the waiver requirement.

I’m almost liking these transfers better than recruiting. Let some other schlepp take the risk and you steal the goods.

I hope he can get the waiver, stay healthy and bust our running game wide open. He’ll need an assist from Coach Hev.

Go Gators!!!

If he properly plays up the lie that he's only doing it to be closer to his dad, he'll get a waiver.

If he is back to full strength, I think he starts. He is a monster athletically. We haven’t had a back with his ability since, what, Freddy T? My memory sucks.

I don't know... can we get a Miami baseball player to call him names just for good measure?

Ciatrick Fason was a beast, but played for zook so was wasted.
