I feel lucky for ESD for this reason and at the same time I feel for the kids that genuinely committed to play for Grantham, though I believe few if any had him as their deciding factor. The portal is something the NCAA got right, however still a work in progress.

Im not sorry to see him go. Too much heartache on 3rd downs and bending but not breaking till it broke. Exciting, sure, but championship caliber play calling. Surely not.

Don;t be so sure. if he comes in and sux dog's balls we will all complain. but maybe it will be someone none of us has ever heard of. That is the part of the job knowing guy;s that may not just be represented on a stat sheet. Maybe it could be a guy from Pop Warner or some small division 10 school, but that is known to be a hidden gem. Guess what, at the start of the season almost no one knew of or had ever heard of Joe Brady. Well about 5 or 6 games into the season people were knocking each other over trying to suck his kokk for so long and so hard that it almost put Hoover out of business. So maybe we might one day find a guy who is under said rock that no one knows about him and we find our own gem. But if it is a dud I will certainly air my view! But part of their compensation is too not hire effing duds. so far they are batting below the mendoza line in the asst. coaching hiring in my opinion

The timing is good. ESD is done. Lots of coaches moving around. Lots of new defensive players coming in who can grow together under a new DC and new system. Now, if Dan can make a hire on the order of LSU’s coup with Brady then we’re on the A train. Gotta get it right so the defense isn’t tanking when EJ and AR are taking over

If he gets the job that will make many people here happy. While I have not been in favor of getting rid of Grantham I believe we can do better.

Let’s imagine Grantham spent his entire career at Virginia Tech, his alma mater. Would he be taking the beating here that he does? I seriously doubt it.

His mortal sin, besides being a bit too emotional on the sidelines at times, is having worn the red and black. There are certain people here who are unable to look past that.

Next guy will struggle some, bc of the failure to recruit DTs for and safeties for years and ILBs for three years.

Anyone who isnt a fvkking Dwag will get a lot more rope though, from real Gators.

I'm all for upgrading. Name names.
I prefer an aggressive gambling defense over bend and eventually break.
And despite warning of apocolyptic doom that any team with a pulse would run on us unhindered it never came to pass. UGA ran for a blistering 119 yards.
I find it odd that the oline was atrocious this year yet Heversey gets a pass by the self proclaimed board experts. It's the players not the coach we're told. And yet TG finished with a #9 ranked defense and pitched 3 shutouts this year. If not for safety play there wouldn't be much to bytch about. Maybe we should start with getting rid of English and see what happens before we throw out the 300 lb baby with the bath water. .

You assured me you were 6-2 before our dinner. I went to shake your hand. You were grabbing my penis.
Well, it seemed like the thing to do.

To be fair, you are penis from forehead to ankles.

I hope we hire someone Donk really likes. If he works out, less complaining. If he doesn’t, we can mercilessly make fun of Donk. Win win.
