@FieldYates: At 30 years old, new Panthers offensive coordinator Joe Brady is now the youngest coordinator in the NFL. A rapid rise for the offensive guru who spent the 2017-2018 seasons as an offensive assistant with the Saints.

He’s going to get himself some of that David Tepper, Appaloosa hedge fund money, too.

I am sure Tepper will be quite generous as he already has pissed off the other NFL owners by giving Ruhle 7 years. Remember that Tepper has been a long time minority owner of the Steelers until he purchased the Panthers so he has been intimately familiar with the Rooneys and the fact that the Steelers have had 3 head coaches in more than 50 years.

Georgia's entire offense is gone, the important parts of LSU's offense are gone, our schedule is laughably easy, Trask is back. Lots of things are lining up, next year has to be it.

If Brady goes to the Panthers, do the Panthers try to work a trade with the "Bungles" for Burrow?

Cam Newton and a bunch of draft picks in 2020 and 21? Not likely at this point but if you are a Panthers fan you can dream.

it’s not just the seven years either. It’s also the fact that the total contract value could be worth up to $70 million over the life of the deal/$10m per year (not including the $6m Carolina paid Baylor for his buyout). That’s what Gruden makes on an annual basis. Rule is now the sixth highest paid coach in the league and the five guys in front of him all have won Super Bowl’s. Seems like a pretty rich contract for an unproven commodity, IMO.

@FootballScoop: Ross is all over this. Would be very surprised if Brady didn’t take DJ with him.

Gruden got 10 years, 100 million. Why they so upset about this? Seems the precedence was already set.
