Yes, unfortunately. Another indicator of a high speed impact is that you can't easily identify parts, as in the fuselage and tail is essentially obliterated. Whatever caused this crash, it occurred so quickly they didn't have enough time to process what was about to happen to them.

First time I heard it, I thought her intent was to say “Knickerbockers” but realized that team is the New York team so she quickly tried to correct herself by shortening it to “Knickers”, which is what I originally heard. Sounds like she got tripped up at that point.

After reading the comments about the N word, I listened again and I can understand how people think she said the N word because it sounds close. Not sure if she did actually say it but I’m not in a position to rule it out entirely either.

In America we have always glorified/magnified/idolized anyone who can entertain us over someone who can protect/defend us....sad but true...no one said our priorities were in line unfortunately.....don’t get me wrong it’s a tragic loss...but his death is no more or less important then the other passengers on that chopper...they had friends and loved ones too
