Great hire. Now only if we can replace RB/S with elite recruiters...
Hell, I'd be happy with two decent recruiters who can actually coach their positions at an SEC contending level. But Brewster looks like a very good hire and that's a start.

clear as day he’s filling holes AROUND Knox and English rather than making the staff elite altogether
I think its pretty obvious what's been going on and what continues to happen. Basically every new hire since his initial staff assembly has been an upgrade, but nobody has been let go. The new upgrades only came after someone left for another job on their own. He's not going to get rid of anyone unless something egregious happens that forces his hand. As long as knox and english try real hard and keep their noses clean we are probably stuck with them because Lord knows no one else is gonna come offering them a better job or better pay. Mullen clearly sees the need for upgrades we all see because he makes an upgrade each time the opportunity presents itself. The problem is he's not willing to initiate the opportunity; only to wait for one to materialize on its own. He's just plain too loyal. Time to find some pictures of knox and english with a goat, or better yet, just knox and english.

Maybe Scott will offer Knox and English OC/DC jobs at Howard

I need to wait to see what Law says before I know what to think about this hire.

I can't find a single college football or recruiting analyst who says this guy isn't an ace recruiter. 247 actually says he is one of the best in the country.

I need Donkey’s take before I get excited or upset...
Anyone has to be better than Scott.

It is a name I know. so long as we're doing the Meyer plan of hiring only the best recruiter off someone's staff, I'm good with it.

Honestly, how many of you knew Durkin or Adazzio when they were hired? I sure didnt.

I'm waiting on announcement that we fired English and Knox.

I am not disagreeing with your assessment regarding Cousin Eddie and for the sake of my post I will assume you are 100% correct. Is this a trait of a TOP CEO? I think not. I feel it is clearly a passive trait. Sure loyalty is a great characteristic in personal friendships, but in business it can be harmful. And make no mistake about it, college football is strictly business. If Cousin Eddie "clearly sees" as you claim, then his REACTION to those sights is actually harmful to the program and team and allows others the opportunity to pass us by. Doing nothing is clearly a strategy, but if it needs to be done, then it MUST be done.
