247 had him ranked in the 200's as a recruiter this past year, and he replaced Scott who was ranked in the 30's. I've got to assume a lot of that had to be because of the school each was at and the talent available for each area. Looks like he was at Fsu when Jimbo was there, how did he recruit while there? I know Jimbo always did recruit well at Fsu.

Recruiting rankings don't matter.

Trust the coaches.

You simply got your pot stirred. Eli drinkwitz was declared a winner? For getting a 3*? That's what I'm laughing at. Ephraim banda is a coach at Miami, hes a winner?

When you are a Missouri and your average recruit is below a 3, getting a 3 star over alabama and texas is a big deal.

Big deal or winner? No one is laughing at UF except for Miami. UF pulled in 2 quality recruits yesterday, plus a high profile transfer in shorter. How many schools can say that? Calling UF a loser is a headline, nothing more. But go ahead and eat it up.

Winner and loser is based on expectation... was Missouri expected to get that recruit over the likes of Alabama or Texas? The article is based on one day, where a lot of teams were standing pat, or doing what was expected at that point. We got one signature yesterday (Princely). Missouri wasn't supposed to get a guy, and based on the surrounded teams, they were a winner. Florida struck out with multiple players who we were actively trying to get. So we fall in the loser column for yesterdays action. To see it as otherwise is just straight bias.

I can't find a single college football or recruiting analyst who says this guy isn't an ace recruiter. 247 actually says he is one of the best in the country.
247 says he’s actually one of the greatest of all time recruiters

To set expectations is bias.

I have no knowledge about what entails being recruiting coordinator. What exactly does that job entail? Why is Brewster so good at?

I think its pretty obvious what's been going on and what continues to happen. Basically every new hire since his initial staff assembly has been an upgrade, but nobody has been let go. The new upgrades only came after someone left for another job on their own. He's not going to get rid of anyone unless something egregious happens that forces his hand. As long as knox and english try real hard and keep their noses clean we are probably stuck with them because Lord knows no one else is gonna come offering them a better job or better pay. Mullen clearly sees the need for upgrades we all see because he makes an upgrade each time the opportunity presents itself. The problem is he's not willing to initiate the opportunity; only to wait for one to materialize on its own. He's just plain too loyal. Time to find some pictures of knox and english with a goat, or better yet, just knox and english.
Sadly this is the issue. Championship coaches fire under-performers. I don't think Saban thinks twice. Meyer's and Spurrier's coaches usually got hired away. But that just shows how good they were at building a staff.
Knox has been with Meyer for 10 years so I get the sense of loyalty but loyalty like that will be his downfall.
English and Knox have to go sooner rather than later.
If losing out on a RB and Tae get those two fired then I'll be celebrating.

If we could somehow get the two geriatric ward workers to retire I would actually start to feel pretty decent about our recruiting future
Well age isnt the factor for Knox, he has always sucked.

Im not sure if English is a has-been or a never-was. Loeffler and Nussdrunk prove being a coach at Meatchikn means nothing.

That plan to cede Florida and recruit in Cali instead, man that was a thing of beauty.

Ron stinks but he’s better at his job than bum Greg. It’s unbelievable Greg is still here as our running backs coach . Mar and Trey last year , and literally a dozen backs this year we missed out on with an appealing depth chart . Good news here with Brewster . Gotta ax bum Greg next

English is just as bad. He landed zero safeties the last two years, and once he does put on the field look like they never seen a playbook or heard the term deeper than the deepest guy. these are middle school level coaching problems. the old mothrfuker apparently doesn't have their attention or is sleeping on the job.
