It’s just a picture from his visit guys. But who knows. Kiffin put together one of the best recruiting staffs in the country at Ole Miss.

Anyways. Mike from Rivals thinks he’s Florida bound if he makes the trip in March

It’s all good bro...WDWHA
We really dont.

There are plenty of RBs we did want but this guy is a trainwreck you can see coming from Fla to Tex.

Just save the spot and try again next year, hopefully w a better RB coach.

How is this possible? I heard no good coaches are ever "available" and we hired the best available.

Seeing this makes me laugh and also suspicious that somebody hacked your account.

I’m not counting on Evans signing with UF, but (if it happens) it would be better than watching him sign somewhere else in the SEC and see his off-field troubles “disappear.” Bear Bryant knew sometimes it’s wise to sign a player you don’t need if that keeps him off a rival’s roster.

And maybe by some miracle, we get some production out of him? We have scholarships to spare, so it won’t be a “waste.”

thought I agree with your argument, I wouldn't be worried about his scholarship, but if he gets into some BS, if he takes another player down with him and that is a wasted one.

Well, we never seem to have troublemakers who somehow figure it out at UF. Gainesville is probably the last place a kid who needs cops to look the other way should go.

We needed a RB, need one every year of course, but I will be just fine if this guy isnt it. If he signs, I will hope proves so many wrong. He is sitting out a year regardless due tomsending an LOI to Ugly, and that may be especially hard for a trouble kid.

If that did play out like last year's Steele fiasco, I'd be really pissed - especially if the staff ignored a "situation" and allowed it to get out of hand again. Taking a calculated risk is one thing, repeating a very stupid mistake is something else again.

What's with RB recruits showing us their arm muscles when it's their leg muscles that we plan on using?

I believe they fired the two staffers responsible.

The staffers clearly messed up. But, Dooley and a few other beat writers said Steele's mom was on the phone every night crying to him about being so far away. While something happened, my guess it was used by Steele to get closer to home. They blew it way out of proportion. The media jumped on it. We looks like idiots. It could be a blessing in disguise if it revealed some lazy azz people to Mullin.

Another way to look at it, from a staffing perspective, may be that we need more staffers. It's something a lot of us (led by Law) have been harping on; lack of resources - or refusal to keep up with the Jones' (by hiring a similar number of staffers to handle these "little" issues. Honestly, there should be a staff that handles daily life of these athletes (which I'm sure there is some sort of staff, but is it staffed properly?). Anyhow, who knows? But it seems the schools who are dominating recruiting (and winning titles) have significantly larger staffs than we do - from analysts & quality control staff to administrative & recruiting staffers. Honestly, if we upped the budget $500K we could hire another 8 to 10 staffers (as most could be lower/entry level at the $35-$50K level).

Really? These are college age men; if they are crying to their mommies, let 'em leave. I went away to school, endured dorm life, little money, realized the profs couldn't care less if I passed or not, worked cleaned bathrooms for minimum wage and graduated with a real degree and commission. If an ath e lete has to be managed, babied, coddled, fondled and stroked to make it at a university, they shouldn't be there. So tired of special admits and excuses for STUDENT-athletes. This mess is way out of wack.

Do you know the story here? He apparently went to a staffer and asked to change dorms because Jones was a douchebag - the staffer basically ignored the request....then Jones has the sexual harassment complaint filed and Steele was "guilty by association". Good for you for going away to school, you're a big boy - you should be proud of yourself. But, this has nothing to do with you. It's about the football program and the lack of action taken by the staffers who were put in charge of their living situation.

Where are you seeing that he has to sit out? He was released from his LOI he’s not transferring. He can’t sign another LOI but can sign financial aid papers, enroll, and play. This is not a transfer so he doesn’t have to sit out
