As I said in the box, this is further proof that Elway has an advanced case of CTE

I’ve said it before, as a backup, Driskel is above average. There really are far worse backup QBs in the nfl.

In the case of my Bears, starters too.

Chase Daniel just signed a deal which will put him over $30 million in career earnings....and he's thrown 7 career TD passes. Amazing! Good for Jeff.

I always thought Driskel had the potential to be a really good QB but chose the wrong coaches to play for so I am not surprised he has hung around the NFL for awhile

Driskel shiit the bed last year when Detroit starter went down. He started 3 games and lost his job to a low pick first year rookie.

As a backup, you could do worse. Some of the backups in the NFL I think would literally crap down their pants if they had to take a live snap. Driskel was not great, but I've seen far, far worse.

Backups are game managers. At least Driskel has legs. Daniel is a statue and a crappy thrower all in one.

That’s why he is a backup
Jameis sh!t the bed last year too but the idiot Bucs wasted a top pick for that loser.

Besides my comment referred to potential, something that will never be realized due to the poor development while at UF and therefore has nothing to do with how he has performed in the NFL.

But rather than acknowledge this fact just keep dumping on the guy when you should be dumping on the people that made him regret committing to UF.

I've made this post before. But, when Driskel got to Cinci, Marvel Lewis said he was stunned that Driskel wasn't even taught the basics of QB. He'd never run a huddle, audibled...ect. Lewis completely crapped all over Muschump.

How can you fault a kid who looked like dog penus in college and has made a darn good living as a clipboard holder? Good for him. Every 2 weeks: Pay To The Order of: Jeff Driskel. $ Pretty Large. Excellent work if you can get it and Driskel got it.

He's a backup. Who gives a ****?
I know the mysteries of the NFL are incomprehensible, but if it were me and I were investing the money, I'd probably hold out for somebody that gave my team at least a hint of the slightest chance of winning if they had to play.

There are very few STARTERS in the NFL that can do that, much less backups.
