Here's another good point. There are some posters that I really have no interest in their takes. Hence, I usually just scroll right on by their posts.....takes nanoseconds.

The total nanaoseconds Ox has spent scrolling past my posts can be measured in nanoseconds.

I love this place. It's one big dysfunctional family but it's family nonetheless. I only wish I had more time to come around these days. Got moved into management end of February and now work ridiculous hours all the time and some weekends too.

This is the best sports message board on the planet and it ain't close. If you don't like it here you can leave at any time. Pretty simple.

I think it's time that I finally have the power to like my own posts

The freedom on this board is always entertaining (and sometimes factually informative). It really is a great sports bar atmosphere for Gators. So, I’d err on the side of not changing much.

One thing though, is there used to be a couple of posters with seemingly genuine inside contacts on here. Would be nice to hear from folks close to the program more. Not sure how that can be re-cultivated, but I imagine someone like that would want to feel like their posts wouldn’t be lost in a morass of dumper-pumper toilet-plunger posts to take the time. Disagreement and questioning make any decent message board sail, but redundancy is an anchor.

So the biggest issue I see is the incessant prolonged circular ranting that frequently occurs. This could be moderated more aggressively. Let everyone have their say, once or twice on an issue but not as a broken record. Improve the signal-to-noise ratio a tad.

I'm gonna put this here to die. I've often thought that if you start a thread on a specific subject say "3rd down efficiency" and it gets hijacked with a page and a half of favorite gin posts that you have the right to delete them as off topic.

Giving members the ability to delete the posts of others would lead to an epic disaster worse than the Hindenburg, Titanic, and 2019 Noles put together.

For what it is worth the site is fine as is, I don't think that critical comments should be banned as in other sites. Not only is it annoying it takes a lot of time from someone.

I do wonder if the board is well known among some who might post, or if sub boards for specific sports might be something to think about.

Thanks for the oportunity for input.

Your mom likes my post

See ... right here is a post I have to like because I think it's funny even though I don't like it. It's creepy to like the thought of someone's mother liking SDs post.

Off topic, any pics of his mom available? It could possibly change my funny like to a like like.

How does the OP know that alot of people are turned off by it? That's called pulling something out of your ass.

The ribbing is usually funny and very clever. Although calling someone a mean name isnt very nice and pretty much ends the real discussion... it sure is great entertainment for everyone else. Which in the end, that's what it's all about.

My only comment would be: moderators should step in when death wishes, hunting accident wishes, promises of grave shiiting, tailgate challenges, or knife fight threats are thrown down. And "step in" is rather vague. But it also has the potential for high entertainment value if done creatively.

I love this board. My only "problem" (and the reason I don't post more often), is that I can only check in about once a day. So I'll read a post getting caught up on a thread, and by the time that I can reply, there's already been 20-40 more posts after it and someone has already said what I wanted to say. So, usually, I end up just reading a lot of posts and giving out a lot of likes. And generally enjoying the back and forth banter and the sarcasm from the cast of characters in here. Bottom line, don't change a thing.

It has been established that T's mom is a whore that Donkey paid good money to be part of his Donkey show in Tijuana. Which resulted in T.... but due to their questionable careers of his two parents has led T to being the king of the gay VHS porn in Williston.

And it was during their filming of "Mo White and the 7 dwarfs" that brought URG to us.

The Wildwestness is what sets GatorChatter apart from everyone else.

I agree with cover that the thread hijacking is annoying sometimes.

There are a few(very few) prominent posters that are just jerks and run roughshod over everyone else. You know my position in this ox.

I thought you quit the board.
