Florida tech football being shut down

I know it may not be a big deal to you guys, but a friend of mine's son is the qb

Sad news. That's at least the 2nd football program in the state to shut down in the last 12 months (JU is the other).

Just read an article that scholarship players can stay and keep their scholarships and that if they leave for another school, they can play immediately ( don't have to sit out a year).

Not sure, but I wouldn't mind hiring the head coach as an analyst. He's been there since the beginning and has two previous head coaching stops. He knows Florida high schools well and could probably - at least - help out w/ recruiting efforts. Lord knows we need it.

Not too familiar with the program but I hope we can get a couple of their coaches just to give them jobs...I’m sure they can do some OJT with Sklaski and Brewster
