But it was almost exclusively on the ground b/c they played that little white QB who could run like the dickens and Rich Rod loves running QB's and he was the OC. That little white boy had over a hundy rushing against Bama as well. Knowing that all of our safeties and LB's are awful especially in pass D, and Joe Lee Dunn Jr is the DC, you think today was just an anamoly? I don't.

I disagree. Respectively, of course. ;)

How does the defender know he's thrown the ball when his head is down tackling him? The call was for driving Trask into the ground. ...not to the ground. I think it was a really bad call. But I'm glad that the calls seemed to go in our favor - which almost never happens.

Either way, Go Gators! Ole Miss is GatorBait!

:chomp:
I think it was carrying him 4-5 steps that did the trick

Grantham was holding back. Didn't want to give away all our secrets on D. We'll be much better next week against the offensive genius that is Chump.
If we don't hold Chump to under 550 yards I'll eat Donk's shorts.

That offense is scary. 6 touchdown passes and zero interceptions. If Trask and Pitts continue like today, then idk who you would choose between the two for heisman.

Stiner played like hot garbage today. The whole defense for that matter did. Miller, Cox, and Slaton balled out. But the rest of those dudes need to take a long look in the mirror after dismal and putrid performance. Or maybe Shawn Davis means that much.

That’s a scary offense though. I enjoyed watching Trask butt rape Ole Piss today.

When does Stiner not play like dogshyt? Answer: When he is not in the game. He just flat out sucks, week in/week out. All of our safteys suck. Yes the Davis call was not a good call but the roughing the passer call on Ole Miss was flat out a joke. Not anywhere near driving a guy in the ground, not hit too high or too low, it was a good play. But calls get fkked up every game. Deal with it. What is not different is that our back 7 sucks, year in/ year out.

He kept his head up before contact and was looking at KT when he was throwing the ball. Even if his head was down, he'd be in prime position for targeting.

I have spoken.

Last thing I'll say on this except for a gracious acknowledgement when you rewatch it and publicly admit I was right.

I just rewatched it and Trask releases the ball as the defender makes contact with his head down. Sanogo drives big-bodied Trask back as he tries to complete the tackle. Sanogo never raises his head or changes tackling position. At the end of the tackle he picks up Trask's leg to complete the tackle, but did not drive him into the ground. It was a bad call. I'd be piiiiissed if they called that on us.

I'm a civilian, so it doesn't matter that you've spoken. :proud:

However, caution, you're on the same side as Law. That alone should make you strongly reconsider. :exactly:

Ole Miss has a terrible defense and we only responded with 9 scoring drives, a record 642 yards with 6 td passes, receptions by 11 different players ( 6 that had at least 3)rush for 200 yards with all backs except wright averaging 6 yds per carry or more. Yeah, I’d say we did what we were suppose to do.....and then some more.

As far as the call on Trask....it just pains me to see a call go our way. Especially when we know we will be on the wrong end of bad calls way more often than not over the course of the season.

Offense looked great. Defense not so much. The party was primo. Great time that was a long time coming.

Bring on Muschamp!

your wife always wants to be on the same side as me.

I give it to her in both sides.

Ox, when you add this to the emoji, you should name it Dumb Donkey wrong^3.

Is that possible?

Houston Baptist D is much better. the Ole Miss D had a lot to do with our offense. They are a very bad pee wee league D. Not moving the ball with ease against them would have been a problem. Kudos to our guys, but thinking we have an elite offense based on playing Ole Miss is a little much.

When did I say we have an elite offense? Today is a great start but way too early to make that claim.
