We’ll see if he’s back or not...I was told there would be no reading comprehension needed...they were both listed and “available” since week one FWIW

I liked what I saw out of Hill.

I also think Marco might do well at Star, he seemed ok last year the little bit that he played it.

He better take a page from Chauncey and learn how to be physical...I’m not impressed with his coverage at all so far

There is no magic answer in our depth chart. We are going to get pushed around all season. We are small in the middle from the DL back to the safeties. A quality running team is going to beat us unless we get lucky.

Or score a monumental schitt load of points.

I think the underlying positive here is that it's a change. So there was obviously discussion about getting things corrected. Doesn't necessarily mean we've solved our problems, but there's at least recognition that the problem exists and brainstorming to find a fix, which is the first step.

Burney .... smh
How is he ahead of Diabate? Guy was out of place way too much to not give somebody else a shot there.
I must admit to being really disappointed in Burney, and to a slightly lesser extent with Wilson. I don't know if both were simply overrated or just criminally under-coached. I am, for the moment, seriously considering that it may be a combination of both. Of course, the same could be said of Dean and Stewart as well.

There is such a thing as personal responsibility. Are you disappointed in Trask, Whittemore, or Toney? At RB Perrine and Pierce over performed and Clement has disappeared.

Apples to oranges old boy. I haven't heard (or made) many complaints re offensive talent and coaching for a while now. I would also suggest that the reason Clement has disappeared is directly related to the superior talent and overall performance of those who have not fallen by the wayside. To my original point - Burney and Wilson are not playing well, no matter how you slice it. Whether they are out of position, poorly coached, not making a maximum effort or just not as athletically gifted as I originally thought they were, is still an open question. I think all four possibilities are viable - a combination of the four even more so..

In Burney's defense, he isn't an LB. Moon isn't a DE. Carter isn't a DT. Dean wasn't a corner. I could go on. Plus, 240 pound Bogle is NOT a DT. I mean...

he would be fine as a strong safety, think Earl Antonio Joyner.

doesn't really have a linebacker instincts. most safeties don't.

sometimes I wonder what kind of peyote the Chokin Dwag smokes.

he has seemed to figure out that Jaydon Hill needs to be on the field at least.

it's a start.

would be nice if the other position coaches had a clue.

honestly think maybe out of the options we've seen so far Diabetes ought to be starting at ILB, and Burmeu ought to be the first and second down star, at least when we're playing running teams which is most SEC teams.

Burney should be playing on offense
