The fact that this nimrod deflected today says it all. Dan erased all doubt that he is a complete loser today. He needed to completely own the abomination he put on the field today. Instead, he made absurd excuses. I’m so tired of this story. Seen it too many times. It’s tough to see something you love suffocate over and over.

Nothing about this team is championship level. Watched a lot of football today and the level of play from our game compared to Clemson, Georgia, Alabama, etc...is not even close.
I could go on for days about how bad our defense is but that's beating a dead horse. You have an overrated, outdated, overpaid, poor DC with a bunch of guys who have either been fired or let go at other places. When you hire guys who were coaching at UTSA, guys who got fired and had 0 offers to stay in the NFL, and GAs coaching LBs, this is the kind of defense you're going to have. Good coaches get plucked. There is a reason our defensive staff isn't.
Offensively, sure it's fun but it's only fun and "good" because we had guys like Tyler Murphy and Luke Del Taco playing QB for us in the past. Trask is no Lawrence. Pitts could start on any of the top teams in the country but outside of him, not a single starter on offense would start for a team like Clemson.
We're not even close to being elite and never will be with this staff or any staff until UAA invests in the program. From facilities to coaching staff; you have to buy the best to be the best.
So yes the season is over. Georgia will rape us. The rest of the teams except Vandy have just as good as a shot to beat us.

Please dont act like this is any better than a Citrus Bowl or Tampa Bowl in the 90s bc it isnt.

Im thinking ‘23 is the earliest we could see a new coach with this administration. They’ll forgive what ever happens this year cause of everything going one. Underperforming in ‘21 and ‘22 with what will be a 5th and 6th straight loss to UGAy may be enough to get him out the door with this AD.

I'm curious how many "trust the coaches" dumbasses are still out there....and how many of them are still okay with our "top 10" recruiting classes, that miss on several key positions; can't sign an OL ranked within 200 spots of UGA's top OL; signs 1 DT in two consecutive classes; signs 1 "inside" LB (who weighed 215lbs in HS); has 9 players not get to game 1 of their freshman year, etc. I know they're still out there, they probably won't post until Wednesday or so after some of the A&M dust settles.
