hard to see Harbaugh going into next year without an extension. recruiting in a final year contract is not going to be pleasant for him or Michigan.

Chump fired and Harbaugh will head back to the NFL.

COVID year and all but I believe that USCe, Michigan, and VT will be open P5 jobs at the end of this year

I don’t see feeeze at USCe. Mainly because I don’t think that fan base or admin cares about winning enough to hire someone like freeze. I see him at FSU in a few years or some other school that lacks morals
The cheater Freeze will be at another school before FSU has a chance to fire NorveLLLLLL. Unless he leaves on his own, FSU probably spent every penny raised to fire WiLLLLLLLie and are stuck with Coach Cornrows for the duration of his contract.
If, however, he ends up at FSU, it will be epic how Freeze will add to that program being set back for several more years with cheating alone.

This. I expect South Carolina to go after Hugh Freeze next year though.

I expect Freeze to stay out of the SEC (unless the money is too good to pass up). Va Tech would be a perfect landing spot for him. Fuentes is a dead man walking in Blacksburg. But, yes, SC will offer every big name out there - like they're the blue blood program they think they are.

I know of a great candidate for that job. Best DC in the country, came from VT, SEC experience. What are they waiting for?

I think VT will make a move just because they’re sitting at .500 with blown games and no progression and it’s year 3 or 4 with him.

would be a miracle.

4-4 with Pitt, Clemson, and Virginia left. Guys overall record there isn’t terrible but only won the division in his first year, hasn’t recruited well. He might get one more year but I don’t see why he should.

Nobody gets fired in COVID'20 :\

Harbaugh doesn't get an extension unless it's small and token to retain recruits and he's out sometime next season. Maybe McSharkHumper will give him a special assistant coaching spot at CMU until the NFL picks him up again.

Muscan't gets to next year, see how his record looks when/if cupcakes are added back in and USCe fans keep drinking heavily. I'd say USCe is the best landing spot for Freeze in the next 2-3y.

Freeze got an extension at Liberty? Just his agent ensuring he gets paid. Someone wants him, they'll pay the buyout. And someone will.

VT wouldn't take Freeze, they have scruples and wouldn't want him to bring the taint of cheating there :\ Fuentes has this year and next, to see where he's at. I'd expect a mini extension of 2-3y to protect the school but still leave them room to fire him.

I realize it's year 1 for both the Pirate and Kiffin, but which will last longer? I really can't say.

I get it. But Champ is the best you’ll get from me. I don’t refer to people with ridiculous names and references. I’m not knocking those that do. I think it’s funny. It’s just not my thing. I refer to men by their name. And I personally have no qualms with him. He gave it his all here. But as we can see, he’s just not a very good coach. If I was ever to denigrate a coach it would be Mac. He sucked out loud.
You don’t belong here with that ridiculous attitude

I'll bet with COVID around and attendance down, and probably down next year as well, there will be a lot less schools willing to take the buy out bath. Attendance means money and it isn't the factor it usually is.

By now SC has figured out they are not going to be contender no matter what they do. They caught lightning in a bottle, Spurrier, and they got close.

Meatchicken still thinks they are God's gift to the football world. So as bad a Muschamp is I'd bet on Michigan.
