@APMarkLong: Boom could walk away with $21.678M in buyouts between Gators and Gamecocks. Not a bad gig

It's just flat-out beyond belief. Astounding. Infuriating. Generational wealth to SUCK.

I don’t disagree. But this one is a little different. He’s one of the most ego-driven people I’ve ever seen. He insisted on being HCIW at Texas, rather than just a DC. When there was any questioning of his strategy or performance here, he went crazy. He spent days lobbying Usce for the job, scoffing at the notion that he was just a coordinator and not HC material. And then he’s been rinse-repeat in his demeanor there. So yeah, he’s wealthy. But he’s having yet another program announce to the world that he’s not what he’s so desperately and stubbornly wanted to be. And by doing it during Covid, they’re also saying he’s just too awful to even keep on, even though they don’t really even have the money to be doing this right now. It’s a failure in the biggest sense of the world and I know it’s eating him up, sitting in his mansion or not. That makes me smile.

I don’t care for him.

All those bastard Cock fans taunted us and said we were idiots. We tried to warn them. I hope his replacement is worse, but the only way that's possible is if they hire Butters.

WiLLLLLLLie? You're not forgetting about WiLLLLLLLie are you?

Good on South Carolina, glad to see people show some balls, espicially in a time when having balls and showing them isn't always the popular decision.

The guy is such a joke. I’m not sure how anyone can stand the son of a bitch . On top of that he’s arrogant as hell.

@FootballScoop: A lotta offense coming for South Carolina…. Early potential candidates emerge for South Carolina HC job

They’ll likely be disappointed again. Remember when Spurrier gave them a month plus head start so they could get in front of guys like Smart(who was there’s to lose) Riley, Fuente and even Mullen? What happened? Every decent name was told to wait to see what else may become available, and they did. One by one, they all got better job offers and took them. They were left standing with no one like the fat girl at the bar, which is why they’re in this very spot. And that was when UF, uga and their cross conference rival A&M were average at best. It looks the part of a decent job. But Spurrier ironically ruined things with his success to the point that fans think they’re a player at the table, rather than UK/OM with different colors. With us trending and uga being the name it is right now, it’s a dead end job. Perfect for a glorified retiree like Holtz and Spurrier to go have some fun. Disastrous if you’re trying to actually win anything.

That’s not that far fetched. Though it would be less about him earning anything and more about him being the only guy still in the waiting room.

Due to the - likely - low number of openings this off season (due to the China virus), they 'could' end up w/ a decent hire. They should go after Napier first - he's a SC guy, having played at Furman and coached under Saban and Swinney. The coach at Coastal Carolina, Jamey Chadwell, is killing it, and he's a SC guy as well w/ deep SC roots. Both would be solid hires, Chadwell would be the riskier hire as all of his experience is at lower levels, even his assistant coaching years. But his upside is huge. Missouri hired Drinkwitz after only one year at Appalachian State and he seems like a solid hire. I think them getting Freeze is a pipe dream, but it could happen. They're going to have to cough up $5 to $6 million to land a Hugh Freeze or Mario Critobol type.
