I’ve only ever been to one away regular season SEC game and, sadly, it was a Zook-era Vandy game (2002).

I've also been to only 1 Gators SEC away game. It happened to be Tebow's 7 TD performance against USCe. Good times. Side note, when I still watched the NFL myself and my oldest friend in the world went to 1 NFL away game for our sqaud every year(including London) since we were 16 and didn't have a pot to piss in. In those 20 years, we saw our team TIE as many games as we saw them win. So something like 1-17-1. Brutal.

Had the Vandy trip
96 Gators had to hang on against Vandy on the road on their way to Fl's first Natty, don't overlook these guys.
Ok, Ok Ill admit thats some old school chit The Bear or Vince Dooley would spew before they played North West Montana St.

Vanderbilt, the only football program who could build you a rocket at halftime. Score a TD not so much.

Said by announcers a decade or two ago.

I bet King Ox sets the points at 30 for this game.
I set it for -34.5, and that is a hell of a lot of points to cover. Vandy can score a few points, and the Gator defense isn't exactly known for locking teams down. A pick for Vandy to cover that would not be out of line. Could be a lot of garbage-time scoring for Vandy in the second half.

Well I'm a man of my word I will never pick against Fl again, but 34.5 chit you make it hard to pick Fl.

Man, it’s hard to get excited about this game. Usually on Mondays I hear all of the nervous Nancys tell me how Team X may beat us, but even they can’t muster up some ridiculous angle. We’re gonna manhandle Vandy. I’ve said all season long that a team has to score at least 40 to have a chance of beating us. So needless to say that I don’t see Vandy doing that.

Okay, I’ll take a shot.

Vandy put up 35 points last week against a Kentucky defense that is in the top 25 in points allowed in the country, ahead of Alabama. They did this in a game where Kentucky was motivated due to the passing of their line coach in midweek. Kentucky barely escaped with a 3 point victory, 38-35.

UF has the 69th ranked defense in points allowed, so we’re less well equipped to defend against a Vandy scoring onslaught than Kentucky was.

We’re really going to have to crank up the scoring machine to keep up in what is sure to be a shootout.

Im really gonna have to beat my chest after that game...now tell me how they did against that vaunted LSU defense “The fighting Pellinis” and the USCe team that gave up 159 points in its last 3 games
