Just like Butters would still be roaming our sideline if he hadn’t forced his way out, Frank’s would still be our QB if he hadn’t been hurt. Those are facts, not opinions. Yup.
Yep, Butters sealed his fate with the death threats bull****.
If Franks hadn't jacked his ankle, I am afraid we would have lost the KY game and he would have still been here. No New Year's Six last year, this year we would have lost to UGA who started a skinny midget at QB and Ole Miss who started a QB that once recruited like hell for us. We very well could have lost to USCe and saved Nochumps job.
Mullen needs to quit worrying about finding the next Tebow or Dak and adapt "his" system to the talent he has. Saban has done this masterfully and it seems to work at UA. Dabo has done this at Clemson. Clemson used to be a spread O with a running QB running power and counter and the pass 35-40% of the time. Now with Lawrence, they throw it around a lot more.
What you are now seeing is teams who run a pass first O and set up the run are having a ton of success. Clemson, Alabama, UF, OU. Its fun to watch and stresses the hell out of defenses. The trend now is the super freak athletes are not going the corner back route, but going the WR route, and we are stacked to the gills with elite pass catchers. Teams can't put enough cover guys out there because they are all playing offense. I personally blame OBJ.
