this arguably the easiest schedule we've ever had. it's certainly in the debate. and these are without a doubt the worst defenses the SEC has had a modern memory. the secondaries have been putrid for a long time though.
Want to see an even easier schedule? Go look at the one we were supposed to play. No aTm or Arky, and add E. Wash, S. Alabama, New Mex. State & the Nulls. That really would have been a joke.

You keep bagging on the SEC this year, but it’s still the best conference by a long shot. All the others suck out loud this year...even worse than usual.

Fwiw, yes it seems like a down year for the SEC, but ill bet you more than half of the NFL 1st and 2nd round draft will be SEC picks

Trask had to go 2 games without his main weapon, Pitts. Sure, many say: "But he threw TDs to others." Still, had Pitts been in there, how many stalled drives would not have stalled and gotten more TDs?

If Pitts was in those games he would be up for the Heisman like that receiver from Bama....

Agreed.

But both are true.

frankly I don't think it's been that tough.

the extra conference games have really worn on the teams with the worst depth. lack of four cupcakes has also meant that a lot of these three or four conference win teams are now struggling for 500. mentally that stuff on kids too. 7- 5 sounds a lot better than 3-7 and it's the same team. many on the two or three wins teams have checked out.

Agree that this is the easiest schedule we've had in years, but it's still impressive that he's putting up these types of numbers with fewer games that would include the typical creampuffs or fsu who have even worse secondaries. Many people never thought this would be possible considering his background.

Im not minimizing. He has been almost perfect at times and I really don't care about him being off a few a game. Some people panic like Chimp everytime a forward pass hits a DB in the hands and he drops it.
