Hope the young man is continuing to make improvements. Sounds like he's out of the woods as far as surviving this horrific incident, but his neurologic status still sounds very guarded. It seems to me the picture fits a cerebral bleed/thrombotic event more than a cardiac event, but it doesn't really matter. All that matters is he's alive, improving and hopefully on a path back to being able to live a normal happy and productive life, with or without basketball.

By the way, tonight's game postponed, I'm assuming because of Keyonte? I don't see naything about a rona outbreak.

A team decision. UF AD director on WRUF for and hour today with Steve Russel said he was up sitting in a chair laughing and talking. Said no decision on Sats game yet but it would be a team decision.
All so said The stand alone football complex is 18 months out from completion. Was hoping for 12 months but Virus set things back.

The entire sporting world has been on edge following this drama, not just out of concern for his well being but over the possibility of disclosure of it being Covid related and how that could impact the willingness of the NCAA to move forward with the season over obvious concerns.

That nothing has been brought to light publicly — and I’m well aware of how HIPAA rules work — it makes me think Covid’s probably not a factor.

Any positive news regarding KJ's health lowers my worry meter one step at a time regarding his survival. I put no timetable on anything else, but I so hope and pray for himself and the family that the battery of tests that I assume have been started and will be ongoing will yield a definitive answer as to what was the cause.

The entire sporting world? This thread is literally the only place on the entire internet where it’s been speculated. No one is on edge.

Where did the rumor come up that he even had the Wuhan? This states no one knows.

It's unclear if Johnson's condition is connected to COVID-19, or if he had previously tested positive. Florida had to pause team activities last month because of positive COVID-19 tests, and coach Mike White said the team also had previous issues, but details were not released because of privacy laws.

Recovery of mental faculties, muscular reflexes could be slow or rapid. Mental & physical therapies will produce a rate of progress as to recovery. It's a positive that this young man is a positive fighter. Prayer is therapy for everyone and every challenge.

KJ was diagnosed with Kung Flu in the late spring/summer, along with most of the bball team. That is documented.
No it’s not. He was quarantined like everyone else but it’s certainly not known whether he had it or not.

Well, it’s not my fault that you just crawled out from underneath a rock.

If I'm the guy putting out the updates from Florida Basketball on KJ's condition, I'm finding a way to work a misspelling of Tallahassee into the next announcement. But that's just me. I'm petty like that.
Trashahassee.

see! it's easy.
