Trying to explain the inexplicable concerning Grantham's

1) season-continuous D-failure?
2) players showing frustration during the game.
3) losing to underdogs.
4) yet Grantham stays =

Makes me think Grantham has a full-blown alcholism problem with Mullen not wanting to hit a man when he is down. There's this funk-failure of eveyone tip-toeing around their DC like the Emporer has his clothes on.??

This. It's possible that tg's scheme worked well (most of the time) the previous 2 years because the players understood what they were doing, but it appears most have graduated. This late in the season and tg can't grasp that the current roster is struggling to line up correctly? tg is either stupid, stubborn or both.
Don't forget incompetent and apathetic,

Dildo Dan isn't going anywhere for two more years now.
I agree, but giving that a like would make it seem as if I thought that hanging on with DM AND TG for two more years was a desirable outcome. I can, with some significant qualms, live with a DM with a new DC scenario. The idea of of two more years of TG's sorry schytt is more than I can bear. What really sucks is that I don't believe DM will do what has to be done and that the prospect of TG hanging around and DM flaming out as a result is pretty much a lead pipe cinch. Bleak but true.

Mullen is growing less tolerant of the costly gaffes and shortcomings, but I don’t think he has made a decision on Grantham’s future — yet. It’ll come down to measuring performance versus expectations against Alabama.

I do think holding Bama under 35 would earn him a return. Some of you may scoff at that number as unrealistic. I think Mullen wants to see the defense challenge Bama and have the game be within reach going into the fourth quarter.

Why is Grantham on the sideline? Because his fat head won’t fit through the door of the skybox.

He probably knows there’s a pretty good chance some pissed off Gator fan will toss his fat ass out the window. So he’s staying close to Mullen’s FHP escort.
