Why if Mullen gets a different O coordinator is everyone after Mullen's a.s.s.? He adapted his offense to fit a Q.B. who didn't match his scheme. He can coach offense. At least he proved that to me. On offense he's even shown a little bit of do more with less.

Hell of a game ruined by a hell of bad defense.

To me this is where Mullen either is the guy or not. Grantham has to be addressed. He has to critically look at his coaching staff and assess where they have fallen short. It's hard, I know, especially since he has known him for awhile, but damn, this defense this year has been so unprepared.

He has to go. It isn't the amount of yards or points he has given up which is bad. In the China flu season, most defenses have really struggled. But, ours is the only one consistently unsure as to where to line up. They look to the sideline and throw their hands up in the air. That is on the coach.

Second, that consistent misuse of talent. Choker has ruined Burney's career by cross-training him at 3 positions. Dean has played 3 positions. Carter isn't in any way a DT, but insists on playing him at DT. We recruit players in high school and then move them to a position they have never played before. Why?

The boxscore doesn’t do justice to the ineptitude that was Florida’s defense last night. We had four third-down stops nullified by silly mistakes.

Imagine if we had made those stops. We might have actually looked competitive in the first half instead of like a matador waving a red flag.
