Jeebus some of those names are horrendous. Marvin Lewis is one of the worst coaches in history. Any team hiring him again as HC better be prepared to watch the fan base burn down the city.
The amount of retread that goes on in the coaching world, especially in the NFL, makes you want to puke. I'm going to raise my boys to become coaches in college football to have a career even if they suck.

I'm confused. isn't the history of making stupid mistakes a reason he might make another stupid mistake?

Yes, but you’d think that the new GM he hires/hired would have enough sense to save Arthur from himself. I dunno, though, I could be wrong.

I doubt we'd have any interest in Freeze. Seems like the sanctions we were hit with really pissed off the uaa. I like Freeze probably the most but after reading that article, he's not gonna get a sniff.

I just think coaching searches are a hoot. In November of 2017, we had 1.5 million page views.
Let's go for Elane. He can't coach but he can recruit. Maybe he can hire a couple of coaches.

I think there’s a chance as well. But nothing certain. The guy lost to both Mullen and McElwain, and with some of his better teams. As I said, if it’s a Jets situation, so be it. But trading as if we’re landing a Meyer is inaccurate. Honestly, there’s no one out there that carries that type of near guarantee. Fickle would be the closest and I, personally, don’t want another DC turned HC. There’s a reason Freeze is considered the hot name and Texas just hired an OC with decent at best HC experience plus baggage. There just isn’t some plethora of slam dunk options right now.

So as much as I get and agree with the Mullen criticism, we should be careful what we wish for. It’s still in our best interest that he gets it together and is successful here.
Plethora? Nice word but there is no such thing as a plethora of HC talent like Saban and Meyer. They are rare as hen's teeth.

Fickle could be an interesting pick who might work out. He strikes me as a tough, gritty guy who isn’t an excuse making puzzy like Mullen. I don’t think he’s going to show up to a post game presser dressed as Darth Vader, or worse...Princess Leia. He has HC experience. He’s a young guy, mid to late 40s I believe so he should stick around awhile. Get him a good OC and he might be a decent pick.
The name Fickle is too awful to be successful. It's close to Mullen but maybe even worse. Almost as bad as Booger.

Who is Joe Brady?

I’m stuck in between telling you to take a lap and answering the question. I’ll answer the question.

Joe Brady is the only reason Orgeron is still at LSU, why they won the Natty last year and why Burrow wasn’t some mid-late round draft pick.

I'll also throw a name out there that would interest me. Joe Brady. That LSU offense last was probably the best I've ever seen. Then I look and he's done a solid job with Bridgewater. He seems like a fast riser. I'd be interested to see what kinda staff he'd put together and how interested he'd be in the college game long term. I want an offensive coach, just the complete opposite of uga and bama. No defensive minded guys or former oline coaches.
Oh, that's the Joe Brady. You have to remember Joe had Joe and that helped Joe. Which Joe was the most reponsible is any Joe's guess.

Thanks for the education Truth. But I'm not sure which Joe was really to blame for their great success. I might give more credit to Joe but it's any Joe's guess.

With the fact he made a trainwreck of the Panther's personel look like a solid offense. I'm going to say that Joe Brady is a solid OC which help expose Joe Burrows talent.

Here's a list of names being graded as hires on ESPN, granted it's ESPN but still, how does Dorky Dipschit Dan compare? Keep in mind, 5 of the 10 names below are black so there's got to be incentive to hire them and get some draft picks as well.

Eric Bieniemy (OC KC Chiefs)
Raheem Morris (Interim HC ATL Falcons)
Arthur Smith (OC Tenn. Titans)
Robert Saleh (DC SF 49ers)
Byron Leftwich (OC TB Bucs)
Greg Roman (OC Balt. Ravens)
Jim Harbaugh (HC U. Mich.)
Marvin Lews (Co-DC ASU)
Matt Eberflus (DC Indy Colts)
Brian Daboll (OC Buffalo Bills)
Raheem Morris, Greg Roman, Marvin Lewis, And Booger Eater have no business being on that list. Leftwich hasn't had enough experience. He shouldn't be on that list either.
