He was a great DC, but he bombed as a HC. A good HC probably could’ve won 2 Super Bowls with the roster he had in Atlanta.

The incompetence that both he and Dimitrov showed building the defensive roster was Fat Todd level. Great O for a few years with no support to go with it and it was his trademark. Every draft they would waste the first round pick on another receiver or a reach at corner when they needed big uglies on both sides and athletic linebackers who could actually cover someone occasionally.

What's your point? He was Fired as as a HC...Hired as a DC.
There are LOADS of great OC/DC's who can't hack it at HC.
There are loads of CFB HC who can't cut the NFL (Due to managers, owners, and players) and the reverse is true due mainly to RECRUITING.
The trick is to know what you are good at (put the EGO aside) and realize your limitations.

Zow, a former Alabama quarterback while Dabo Swinney was coaching the receivers for the Tide, has nine years of head coaching experience including at Montevallo HS (AL), Calera HS (AL) and Bessemer City HS (AL).

@BruceFeldmanCFB: ULM has hired former #OleMiss OC Rich Rodriguez as the new offensive coordinator on Terry Bowden's staff. His son Rhett, a former Arizona QB, is also transferring to Louisiana-Monroe.
