This is a complete dumpster fire. Any hope I had of a turnaround just ended with Baalke being named gm. If a guy could screwup all the jags assets, Baalke is the guy to do it.
I don't know why they waited. It was always going to be him and everyone knew it.

Make no mistake though, he's a GM when it comes to contracts and paperwork. The player stuff will be all Urban.

You're being such a drama queen. You just hired the best available coach on Earth, bar none. Try and be happy for once.

@RapSheet: The #Jaguars land their top choice as DC, while the #Ravens lose another position coach from the Wink Martindale tree.

Unlike the Baalke hire where nfl media were relentlessly mocking the jags, this hire has earned praise from around the league. The question is, 3-4 or 4-3? Allen and Chiasson have been completely misused. It is as if Grantham were the jags DC. Cullen has his work cut out for him. Based on reception around the league, I like the hire.

3-4 seems like a no brainier.

While I despise the Baalke hire by Khan, Cullen and Bevell are appear to be excellent choices by Meyer. Bevell has a nice rack record as an OC.

The #Jaguars are expected to hire Brian Schneider as their special teams coordinator, per source. Schneider had held the same job with the #Seahawks since Pete Carroll arrived in 2010.

Meyer's attention to detail helps him as a CEO he hires people who not only agree with his vision but also are excellent coaches. Meyer's strengths are not Xs and Os, but he hires guys that are great at that aspect.

I wonder if Meyer is going to have the same obsession with Special Teams in the pros. Not enough teams do.
