Really? You don't see the humor in this? Are you that confident that a couple of guys moving up from the FCS level are going to "rescue" USCe football? The stats for Brown just don't seem to back that up.
I have never seen Brown play, but noticed he completed 52% of passes in 2019 against FCS competition. Call me skeptical that that number will improve against SEC defenses. Perhaps if he was a dual threat QB who could keep defenses guessing, it might be worrisome, but the 7 yards per game he averaged doesn't sound impressive to me.
Out of curiosity I dug a little deeper into his 2019 season (the team didn't play in 2020). Saint Francis played no FBS teams and went 6-6. Their toughest opponent was #2 (in FCS) James Madison. Against JMU he went 11 for 26 for 96 yards and one TD. He also rushed for four yards. And the one TD? It came in the 4th quarter when they were down 37-0. Now I get that they may have been over-matched against a superior team, but it's not like his throwing even kept them in the game. And for the record, he had no turnovers, nor was he sacked. (FTR - I didn't bother looking at the other games; I did notice they scored a respectable amount of points against Merrimack, Wagner and Delaware State - perhaps he was dominant against these known powerhouses....)
I'm serious when I say I respect you're ability to judge talent - you've proved it here for quite a while - but unless you've seen some film of this guy that makes you think he's some diamond in the rough, yes, I'm going to laugh at USCe; just like folks laughed at UF a few years ago for thinking an OL transfer from Fordham nobody had ever heard of was going to make a big difference.
On the other hand, your post may have been sarcastic.....
