Anyway, about the game. I think the umps made a bad call for Miami in the second that took that run away. That was a big momentum swing. Game could have gone either way imo if not for that bad call. I think we were still clearly the better team last night though. Jud Fabian didnt look comfortable. Maybe too much preseason hype and expectations? He will settle in.

Don't remember his name but that freshman pitcher we put in the 9th when the game was thought to be over HAS to do better than that. I thought sully should and would pull him after the 4 pitch walk to put a man on first and second. He talked to him and then he walked the next guy too to load the bases... Just unacceptable up that many runs. A walk is as good as a homer when you need 6 runs in one inning, just throw fastball strikes dude. I lost my cool when that was going down.

When the next guy came in he at least wasn't walking people but he looked like the nerves were getting to him. Glad sully finally decided to close it out with what looks might be our best closer.

Great game last night. This team is good.

LOVE seeing the dominance that Sully has put on display vs Miami in his career at UF. Just shows how GREAT of a coach he is at UF.

Miami always has strong teams from being nestled in a hot-bed of excellent recruits. So, Sully's record is much commendable.

I thought the same thing at first because the runner got to the plate before before the other runner touched third. But looking closely at the play, it seemed that McMullen got the tag about 3 feet away from the bag. It was close either way.

The pitcher that came in to shut down the dust devils was Franco Aleman. Tne freshman who struggled was Chase Centala; he walked two at a bad time. I think "first game jitters"; he was one of the best pitchers to come out of Tampa.
