Come on guys Mullen is an elite QB whisperer. Maybe some just can’t hear him.

Maybe TG is a LB whisperer and they just can’t hear him?

85% of coaches win when they have more talent. The SEC East is FULL of garbage teams and Clowntown is a dumpster fire. No UF coach has ever it easier.

Mullen, Chimp or Sharky would win every game except Bammer, Ugly and LSu.
Chimp? The same guy who lost to Ga. Southern? I don't think so.

I don't disagree with the part about this team being at least somewhat better talent-wise than the the rest of the east, with the obvious exception of UGA or that FSU is still a schytt show. What I am focused on at this point is the fact that half of that "superior" talent is almost certainly going to be utterly squandered by the colossal ineptitude of one of the worst DCs in all of CFB. Throw in a regression to the norm on O, along with a recent history of schytting the bed when even an average effort could have won the day, and I just can't bring myself to dismiss the possibility of another "promising" start against the weak-sisters and pretenders we open with - only to collapse once again when we finally face anyone with a pulse.

Respectfully, how do you think this team is going to react to being skull-dragged by Bama, in light of the propensity this staff has demonstrated for turning one deflating loss into multiple losses? Also, please allow me to point out that the only thing that saved us from a 5-7 to 7-5 type season last year was the presence of a Heisman finalist QB who will likely be a second round pick in the upcoming draft. The once in a lifetime confluence of events that allowed a Mullen O to lead the nation in passing will be a rapidly fading memory by the time we get to the meat of the schedule. And Toad the Limp Sprocket will still be stinking it up on the sidelines to the delight of Gator haters everywhere. I honestly think that to "expect" a 9-3 or 10-2 season after last year's experiment in "doing less with more" is supremely unrealistic. Just sayin.'

And maybe a flying monkey will emerge from my bung hole and present me with a really big bag of nickels.

Don't forget the offensive coordinator of last years offense (Mullen's words), is now a qb coach in the NFL.
