I would only recommend it through the Jon Lithqow season (season 4) it dropped in quality after that.

True...but still I had to finish. And of course I’ll give the new season a shot when it comes out

I watched season 5 and tried to get through season 6, but I tapped out somewhere in there. The Mrs finished it and told me not to bother.

finished it tonight. Was really good. And theres nothing about it that would make someone turn their head or get freaked out. The comments I've seen online over that are unfounded imo. Was really interesting, bet you both would like it. My wife and I both were glued to it.

Is this a one season type show, or will there be another season?

I just finished Daredevil (3 seasons). I'd give it a B, B+. I'm not into the Marvel/super-hero stuff, but it wasn't too 'super hero'.

I started Homecoming (w/ Julia Roberts) - 3 episodes in, seems good. They're short episodes - around 25 minutes.

Kingpin is the best part of Daredevil series... sounds like MCU is going to try to boot it back up.

WandaVision (2021 - Disney+): This started off slow for me (started falling asleep on Episode 1) but when the story started to really show itself the show picked up steam. It was solid until the final episode, and though it was solid I felt it left a lot of the table to where it could go. Knowing the stories that it was based on, it had a lot of meat on the bone to work with and was able to hit on some of the more PG points. But felt it really could have gotten better, if it got darker. It was a solid opening, being it is the first part of Marvel's phase 4, and upon re-watching I might see stuff I missed. But I no desire to. Give it a solid 5.5/6 out of 10.

Started the Flight Attendant about two episodes in, looks like it could be solid.

I wasn’t too impressed by Umbrella Academy. They were so intent on wallowing in some of the characters’ quirks and eccentricities that it distracted from the convoluted plot.

I’ve enjoyed Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Punisher on Neflix. Luke Cage is a notch behind but ok and Iron Fist is a few notches below that - and funny when it doesn’t mean to be. The Defenders had an uneven first season, all “Who are you?” introductions. Looking forward to watching the new season of Jones.

I'm going through this entire thread to see what shows I haven't watched yet. I'm going to try Jessica Jones - since I liked both The Punisher & Daredevil.

I liked both seasons of Punisher - I can't believe they're not going to do another (I think it got shut down due to Disney buying it or something? Maybe they'll change their minds later, after covid?).

First Season of Jessica Jones was pretty good. I got bored by the second season.
Watched a few episodes of Flight Attendant then got bored.
I'm not paying for Disney+ but Wandavision looks interesting.

Got shut down due to the expense, Netflix didn't want to continue to pay Disney and make their own stuff. But apparently Disney is in talks with the actor (don't want to try to spell his last name) about rebooting Punisher. They are currently talking about rebooting DareDevil, Jessica jone, Luke Cage and Punisher and putting them on Disney owned Hulu, so it's not on the PG Disney+.

I think that’s right. Disney gained rights over all Marvel’s stuff. Some have held out hope that they’d work out something with these Netflix properties/production teams/actors. They’ve been pretty good to great and with a little work the whole interrelated story lines could really work.

Sorry - didn’t see this before my last post. Thanks for the update.

Just started "zero zero zero" on Amazon prime. Pretty good so far. Haven't seen it mentioned yet.

Yeah I've seen it and it was good. I could never remember the stupid name though. I guess it refers to the purity of coke however it could also be a metaphor for being a zero sum game for all involved.
Plot wise it follows a shipment of coke from a Mexican Cartel to the Mafia (there is no Mafia and we'll kill anybody that says there is), and the otherwise legitimate family owned business that agrees to ship it. Everybody gets decimated. It's fascinating enough that I may give it another watch.
