Still making amends for conspiring with the officials to find a way to give Tenn the win way back in those zook years I see.

I'm still bitter about that one.

That being said, the guy is all gator and it is great to see him pumping us. Was a big part of the 2006 National championship team. Even though he was a WR, he would still probably be a better D coordinator than what we have and we could probably pay him peanuts to do it. Let's hire him and spend the rest of fatt todd money on hiring some competent recruiters!

Maybe y'all think I'm stoned but hiring Coaches like Baker, Kerwin, and other Alumni who know about Gator "Traditions" and "Culture" are a benefit.

Why we can find a President and AD from the list of "Elite" graduates is beyond me?

I hear Donk is available?

Wait...Donk said something positive about Gator Football?

All you non-believers better get right because I'm expecting to hear trumpets any day now.

Bitter at first, but I chalked that up to underclassman immaturity. Loved seeing him score that TD in knoxvul 2 years later and then continue to play big throughout the year, including the bucknut curbstomp party. That pretty much soothed the sting of his earlier screw up.

Then, the winning streak really helped. By the time the term "elevensee" was created, that bungle was ancient history.

The 04 game is now just an interesting benchmark for the voles' "beginning of the end." Even when people still thought they were relevant, they only won because of a huge assist from the refs. They've beaten UF once since then.

Also - Jimbo makes a Mullen/Butters support staff hire:

Brian Van Gorder (former head coach at Georgia Southern & Wayne State - and SEC DC at UGA and Auburn, also Notre Dame & Louisville) resigned from his position as Bowling Green DC (on Scott Loeffler's staff). He's decided to join former Louisiana-Lafayette head coach Mark Hudspeth's staff at Gulf Shores HS (in Alabama) - also on the Gulf Shores staff is former South Alabama OC Kenny Edenfield, who is the OC.

Former Broyles winner VanGorder retires from college; accepts new role
