Has it occurred to any of you guys that if CDM were fired, it might be to replace him with a more woke coach? Yeah, I didn't think so. To understand more about the present UF administration, consult the Politics forum.

Foley had a lot of capital in his pocket to get away with making terrible hires.

Mr Mundee Morning Gender-neutrality has no such collateral.

There is a lot of truth to this statement by Tijuana.... Foley got a lot of capital out of being the AD over Spurrier, hiring Donovan, hiring successful baseball, tennis, track, etc. coaches.. he had roughly a decade of good will before hiring Zook. That goes a long way. Strickland doesn't.

Yes, the pack the swamp comments. It has nothing to do with what you or I think but it has to do with the national attention he gave the university. Again, forget your beliefs on the subject and channel your inner Fuchs and Stricklin. He basically complained that he couldn't have a packed stadium and then the whole team had to take a few weeks off because of covid. How do you think the admin felt about that PR?

Furthermore, if that didn't make you angry then you need to rethink it. He was blaming our loss on anything like people cheering instead of his piece of crap defensive coaching staff. Are you sure you want to double down on supporting the pack the swamp comment?

Additionally - the "pack the swamp" comments were added to his "A&M had more fans in the stands than they should have...it wasn't fair. That contributed to our loss today." He sounded like a whining little b*tch!

Nailed it. The post Okie presser-schyttfest was more of the same. It's hard to believe how far the program has fallen - both on the field and off. I rode with Mullen longer than many, partly out of misplaced hopes and partly out of the great enjoyment I derive from sass mouthin' the donkey. But facts are facts and DM is an ego-monkey doofus who will never "grow into the job." The sooner he finds himself out at UF the better.

The ole we lost the game due to crowd noise in a half empty stadium... like falling for the ole banana in the tail pipe.

Challenging a member of the media to a thumb war after the loss to Missouri in 2018.
Dressing up as Darth Vader after being part/starting an on the field brawl
Making excuse for the loss against LSU and that we shouldn't have had to play it (after the game)
The complete clusterfuch of a press conference after the Cotton Bowl.

Those are the ones off the top of my head.
Crowd noise being a factor for the loss at College Station....when there were maybe 16,000 people in the stands.

He’s consistently putting his foot in his mouth, and not in an aw shucks kinda way like Butters did with his hokey attitude or the death threats fiasco.

Mullen had the best chance ever in his head coaching career to play for any championship this past year. Instead of that creating a furious drive to reach that goal, ah that Gator Standard, he chose to coast against LSU while sitting a player cleared to dress for the game, not do anything to pump up Trask for Heisman (who may have had the Heisman nearly locked up well before LSU based on his season), and not dive into the defensive meeting room (ala Spurrier) to mandate obvious changes/simplification and personnel.

Nailed it.

Even worse, it was our defense getting trashed. Were their fans screaming to distract their own offense? His point was so fundamentally stupid on so many levels. It comes from a perspective that everyone else is an idiot compared to him so he can push aside any criticism with halfwit excuses.

You mean similar to how Muschamp treated the fans and the media.... there isn't a lot of difference.
