Ray Lewis can commit murder and play on for years and then wait for his hall of fame invitation.
Riley Cooper utters the N word at a concert and he’s forced out of the league.
This is the current state of justice in America

Lets not forget Cooper's complete decline in production. Dude got an extension he didn't deserve by a schitty NFL coach acting as GM. Eagle's GMs, right... If Cooper produced better than a 4th Wide Reciever on that overpriced contract he might have stayed in the league... but he got that extension and sucked bigger donkey balls than Urg.

Would you allow these stats to fill up $4.5 million a year in Salary Cap?

Kaepernick would still be in the league if he played up to his talent level. He is athletically gifted. He isn't an NFL quarterback. He lacks the professionalism to be the face of a franchise (see Johnny Manzel), he lacks the ability to read defenses, and once his legs were gone and his first two reads he was fuched worse than Sluggo on "girls-night" at the Univesity Club drag night. The 49ers signed him to a stupid extension and paid the price. Then he opted out of his contract (instead of letting the 49ers to let him go and him keep some money) believing he was so good people would pick him up.

And the teams that did try to pick him up he went public with his stupidity Miami (Castro T-shirt), Ravens (his girlfriend tweeting Owner with slave Ray Lewis pic), Texans (comparing ownership to the klan), etc...

When you are a public figure like any NFL player and most importantly quarterback, everything you do in the public eye can have repercussions.

Correct. Like Foles, Cooper had a great first season under Kelly. Then nothing. It's truly odd how players just stop playing at a high level out of nowhere and can't get it back. More so a WR than QB. But that's a big part of why Cooper is out. Glad I got to see him catch a long TD pass right in front of me in Tampa that year.

Be honest, how excited were you when saw an intro to post this?

Remember, when guys like Pacman Jones are arrested multiple times, when kids are scattered all over the country with various women, or when drug use is a problem with players, it’s often excused as the culture they’ve grown up around, which is true to an extent. Well, could it not be possible for a person to have grown up in a house or areas, and during a time, where certain races were viewed differently? None of the above is excusable and should be stopped. But if we play “you have to understand” card on one group, it should be played for all. The whole thing is ridiculous and anyone who defends it is blindly walking to their own demise.

Urban Meyer: "Zero chance" I go back to college like Nick Saban - ProFootballTalk

“What Coach Saban went through, I don’t know,” Meyer said. “That’s Coach Saban’s business. I’m not quite sure. At some point, I might talk to him about it . . . he’s a friend of mine and I got great respect for him. It is different. It’s completely different. My mind is set. There’s gonna be some losses . . . That’s gonna be miserable. I hate losing. We all do. But the reality is that you’re gonna lose. Hopefully you win more than you lose. But that’s something that’s gonna be new to me. I have to get my mind right and I’m working on that.”

I wonder how much he'll be saying that if he goes 15-17 the first two seasons like Saban did.

Oh, well if Urban himself said there's zero chance he goes back to college, then it's settled. Say what you want about Urban, but he's a man of his word. You can take that to the bank.

I’m guessing about 4-12 or 5-11 this coming season and about 10-6 the following. He’s gonna have to adjust his mindset like he said or it’ll do him in. If he can, I think he has a good to great 8-10 year run with the Jags. If not, he’ll be gone in 2-3 years.
