Lol. I’ll own it. I’ve always contended there was zero chance of him being fired until this final meltdown. Now he is on the clock for the first time. I see no way he could survive another letdown.
He makes the tourney, he stays.

Will White stay the Gators' coach by using players developed by other coaches? other programs?
It sure will be enjoyable to watch a winning team not developed here.
Will Felder be able to teach Duruji how to shoot. Somebody needs to. Those two could be a dynamic duo.
Please, let us have Castleton back.!
Please let's use superior fundamentals in playing the games.
No more watching late-game collapses. Never any stall-ball. Do not give the game away.
No players get thrown under the bus in HC interviews - they get taught, trained & developed.
White should be cut no more slack.

I blame the coach and I don't appreciate all these transfers either, I try to see the players as family, family does not leave because of whatever idiotic ideas they might have. Just my foolish opinion of course.

Any way the wind blows I goes.
That's it.! Thanks, M1. Felder videos seem a surefire upgrade from "stand-there" Payne, one I loved but one who wouldn't spark to catch fire. Felder brings some brute force - a longtime lack in a Gator uniform, (except for KJ). Felder will be embraced.
Reeves looks extremely aggressive offensively to score, Need his 18 ppg (out of high school.)
McKissic has 4 years of college experience?
Added to a better Russkiev, improved shooter's touch Duruji.? Dare we hope once more. Can they work magic on MW - turn him into a decent CEO-COACH? Can they speak out against "stall ball"?

Reeves averaged 27 ppg this year if I read it right. It’s hard to find much tape of his senior year but he appears to be a very good shooter with range. Looking forward to seeing him on the court.

You read it right. I was hopefully projecting his college-Mike White average out of high school. (I didn't say it clearly.)

He does seem to have a pretty good stroke. Hopefully he could at the very least carve out a role as a spot up shooter.

The write-ups said he could create his own shot. ++

I was watching a sports talk show last night that believes this will be long term because they are going to do away with sitting out a year permanently. Combine this with the proliferation of “handlers” and the chaos will become the norm. Handlers have surpassed parents and high school coaches in many cases as the lead voice in the process.

It’s crazy but then again I go back to when freshmen couldn’t even play. Change is always inevitable.

He will be the starting SF and probably leading scorer for us if all goes well. Then again White is White so who knows what we get lol. He is one of the best incoming freshman that can play 4 positions (not C, though for White he could). He is known for scoring off the dribble in as many ways as you can think of and is one of the best 3pt shooters in the class who will dunk on anyone. If his role is spot up shooter, we aren't making even the NIT

He seems very different than a Noah Locke type. Noah was an outstanding spot up shooter who was limited off the bounce. Reeves seems to be explosive off his first step and attacks all the way to the rim. I wonder how strong his handle will be against power 5 competition though especially as a freshman.

That’s awesome. I dont just look at the scoring. I love his instincts. He understands angles and spacing. Seems to have good court IQ. This is also the type of player you have to take the chains off and unleash. I look forward to seeing this kid play.

From those highlights, I can't remember us having a player like Reeves.? He executes self-driving slams. He hits from long range and shoots quickly. He goes at top speed. He attacks with his dribbling, quickly. {How is he at stall-ball?} I hope all that translates to college ball. and overrides the "Mike White curse".

Is Reeves a team player? But what a player to work with. Recruiters list him as a shooting guard. He's 6'6" and moves well with the ball at high speeds. Seems to have large hands.? Good find. What on earth does White say to get them to choose UF?

I didn't see a kid over 6 foot tall defending him in that entire clip. He got most of his buckets shooting over the top of kids and fast breaks. Yes he put it on the floor some but there's a only a 6 foot center waiting for him under there. Not all of that is gonna translate when he has another 6'6" wing who's just as athletic guarding him and a 7 big waiting under the basket. Hell, chris walker looked like the next Kevin garnett playing against that kinda competition. His shooting is what I feel most likely to translate early. And we'll see how he adjust to not being to do what ever he wants now that the size and skill playing field is evened out.

Very true and that is the truth serum for nearly all incoming recruits. But if you dont just focus on the scoring you can see how much more developed as a player he starts out compared to Lewis and Walker. His frame can handle additional weight. I’d like to see him put on some good weight and strength over the off season.

Walkers hs tape was nasty and I'd also argue that Lewis played at prep school and played some decent competition and we or atleast I figured he'd be somewhat raw offensively. Because you get a better look at how that will translate. And to be clear I'm glad reeves signed with us and I do think he's a talented kid. I just think watching his hs highlight tape and saying he's going to be our leading scorer is a huge stretch.

Scottie went to Ranney prep in NJ, but Bryan Antoine was the better player on that team. Him and Scottie together were a good combo as he was the PG and could feed super athletic Scottie. Antoine is a 6’5” G that just played his sophomore year at Nova, only averaging 12 mins, 2.3 pts, .7 assists, shooting 41% from the field. Not exactly lighting it up for a big time recruit who’s two years in now. Maybe Ranney wasn’t playing tough competition on the regular.
Either way, I wish Scottie well.
