Baylor off to a blistering start. Bears will not let Zags get going... for now?

Hope they win by 30, then flex in Timme's grill for good measure.

ESPNs dick sucking of gonzaga all year, once again, doesn't seem to be enough to actually get them over the hump.

It will always be tough for them because of the cupcake conference they play in. No adversity all season. Imma sleep well tonight.

Baylor completely dominated this game from start to finish. What a complete and utter DISASTER for Gonzaga and Mark Few yet again in the NCAAT. To get this far undefeated in their easy conference and then to shizzle the bed in the biggest game of their lives/program is just inexcusable and unforgiveable for the Zags/Few. He just can't seem to win the big one and win it all. When you get this far undefeated, you HAVE to rise up and win the game at all costs and they were completely Owned and Destroyed. Mark Few a great coach and gets great talent but he just can't seal the deal and win it all there at Gonzaga. 22 season and only 2 Final 4s with all the talent they amass there so that is big time underachieving.

Would those Gonzaga talents not drop in their individual AA stats were they to play major opponents for half their games?
Gonzaga recruits talented players, but they accrue their leading stat-numbers by mostly playing athletes that cannot compete with named conferences' athletes.??

I enjoyed Baylor though.

Baylor did what they wanted to in this game

They beat them with defense, rebounding and making Gonzaga actually play defense. They attacked all of their weaknesses to perfection

Great season for Gonzaga

Congrats to Baylor!!!

Normal season for gonzaga. They do this every year. At most they usually have 1 loss coming in. There was nothing special about them

It is all karma for Casey Calvary not being called for an over the back foul on the game winning rebound/put-back against the Gators in the 1999 tournament.

Congrats to Baylor!!!

Great points now if our team could only do those things we would be very happy. I don't know if it is the players or the coaching but I bet poster does.

What a beautiful game Baylor played. They had their inside outside game going, rebounding, played great D, and played with energy. You could see the love they have for the game and each other.

With the stars struggling, I thought Nembhard could have taken over the game and got them back in it. He did it many times for UF. He has performed well in big games before. 17 vs LSU in win. 17 vs Ark in win. 24 vs TAM in win. 25 vs UGA in win. 16 pts and 8 assists vs Baylor in loss. 15 and 10 vs LSU in loss on road. 21 and 10 vs SC in win on road. 25 vs Bama in OT win. 15 in win vs Xavier. 20 in win and GW 3 vs LSU in SECT. 21 vs Bama in win. On this night, he was getting run ragged on screens by Baylor for 3s and he couldn't fit through them. He was basically abused on defense again like in the UCLA game. He will shore that up next season and have a HUGE year at Gonzaga if he comes back. EASY WCC competition so he should average 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists next season. Easy to pad stats in a conference like that and might help his draft status if he really shines in the NCAAT next season.

He wasn't just abused on defense he was straight garbage all around down the stretch. Missed a couple of wide open 3s, had a really bad turnover when he just handed the ball to baylor, and missed both free throws in a row when they really needed to catch up, all within about 5 minutes in the second half when they desperately needed to claw back into it. Choked just like he did in our home finale last season when Kentucky was here.
