Shttter's Full Dan is now well known as the Vacation Champion of college football, by following up his pool side summer with a vacation instead of prepping at all for the Cotton Biwl.

I was just listening to a couple of rival football fans laughing about him mailing it in at the bowl game and thoroughly destroying what meager "momentum" he had with a triple face plant, just as he did in his one "big year" at Cowbell.

We got to talking, has ANYONE else ever just taken the bowl game off and went on vacation instead of doing bowl prep?

None came to mind. Is there some other loser we have forgotten?

Isn't having him around more harmful than having him gone? Perhaps we should give him some credit here.

For recruiting? undoubtedly so.

For bowl game prep? maybe if he was the only one gone, but that's not what happened. Canceling the whole practice week before the bowl game was incredibly negligent.

Relentless effort.

I have much more issue with Lsu than anything related to the bowl game. Anything not the Playoff is a giant NIT “whatever”, regardless of outcome.

That said, your point is valid. There are other factors, out of his control, that are affecting us as well. But this staff is not showing the kind of effort they promised on day one.

LSU is the real embarrassment, along with the presser that followed it. The most embarrassing thing about the who gives schit bowl game (other than the number of Iggles scouts to watch Wilson's shoe throwing ability) is the total lack of awareness presser after that game.

We’re down to a who’s worse runoff between Mullen, White, Stricklin, Fuchs and Matt Gaetz. The latter comes in with a slight lead.

At this point, it has to be tie between Stricklin and Fuchs, with White entrenched at #2.

Now obviously if the Gaetz stuff turns out to be completely accurate, that changes things dramatically, and he’d now assume that second spot.

Cut the guy some slack. The season ended on December 19th. Everything thereafter either didn’t occur or was a scrimmage that didn’t count for anything.
