J falls for it every time

then it all comes crashing back to reality by the start of the season. I’m a hopeless romantic.

Anybody heard of "movie money"? It is just sad to provide it to a head coach on a recruiting weekend.Gators in the hunt for a lot of high ranked players. I was actually a bit surprised.
But I’m not surprised about is the fact that it’s mainly Brewster, Turner, and the new DB coaches.
Gonzo, Hevesy, Robinson, and Knox are virtually non-existent in this article.
Florida targets in the updated Top247 rankings for 2022
Evers coming to town for the June 1st cookout:
I thought you'd like this guy. He's a top ten guard and is 6'4" 310. (Don't know for a fact, but I'm guessing he has a large gluteus maximus.) He's higher ranked than any guard in Florida and he's from Lee County which is actually closer to Gainesville than a bunch of towns in Florida. Now if your point is he's just coming for the free chow and will actually end up at Ugly or Bammer, I have no comeback.i cant find the translate button.
I just don't understand why we spend all of our time in Georgia, Mississippi or Texas getting leftovers.
Its a good target, but I just dont understand why we are still some PNG at almost all Florida high schools. If it were close I would take the Florida kid, not necessarily one who was a few rankings hire. IE Id take a Braun over any GA 4 star.I thought you'd like this guy. FTR - I have no idea what he was saying in his tweet either.
Couldn't agree more. I saw some article on Rivals that predicted that 8 of the top 10 players in this class from Florida are expected to go out of state and the good guys are not expected to get either of the other two. That's inexcusable.Its a good target, but I just dont understand why we are still some PNG at almost all Florida high schools. We need to own the home turf. At best we are third in most Fla markets. We mist.fix that first.
Even if it isnt yet the TOP players staying home, at least being able to OWN Jax, Ocala, Tampa, Orlando, SOMEWHERE would be a good start.Couldn't agree more. Miami owns S Fla.
Clowns own Tampa and Jax right now;
Of course, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and Clemson cherry-pick some everywhere.
We dont even really own Ocala. Their truly elite players go elsewhere.
Who fuchsing knows how we get from averagish to elite again. I Idon't see a plan or anyone trying to improve it.
LSU, under the cloud of an NCAA investigation, continues to recruit with the other elite programs - lands a local 5-star DB:
Jacoby Mathews, Ponchatoula, Safety
We re in the running for lots of talent though.Everyone on 247 thought this kid was going to be a Gator.
