He was always a terrible pick.

They go from what seemed like 20 Super Bowls with Brady, to watching Cam Newton suck and knowing that this toolbag is the future? Yikes that's bad.

I hear Aaron Rodgers is looking:scratchhead:

They could have saved the high draft pick and still gotten a better QB in Kyle Trask.
Really surprising. Youd think the Patriot would have at least watched video of him and seen his questionably ability to read defenses. You can sometimes get away with that in college but you're not going to get away with it in the NFL.

Is the whole Belichick myth starting to erode?

Why Jones was even in the conversation baffled me. I was shocked that he was taken in the first round by any team not named the Raiders - because I'm pretty sure when they get on the clock everyone in the front office freebases cocaine and just starts shouting random names.

Jones in my opinion the same tier of quarterback as Trask and was never a first round talent. Much like Christian Ponder he was given the benefit of the doubt due to the coach he was under, and his inflated stats. He should have been a 3rd round pick talent wise.

I liken Jones to Ken Dorsey. Its really hard to look bad or fail when you are so loaded with talent in the trenches and skilled positions.

Tim Tebow has the top selling jersey in the NFL, one week after signing his contract with Jacksonville. However this is not about a popular football player or Heisman Trophy winner.
———-
This is about millions and millions of American parents and children. Starving for a role model, a leader, a man of faith, decency and moral fiber.
______

Tim Tebow surely has a journey beyond playing back up TE for the Jacksonville Jaguars (Sen Tebow? Gov Tebow? President Tebow?) But his popularity should send a message to all professional sports leagues.
————
Millions of fans are tired of the Colin Kaepernicks Lebron James and Megan Rapinoes of the world. Millions of Americans reject their uninformed messages of anger, hate, division and Anti-American rhetoric
————
And THAT is WHY millions of Americans are buying the jersey of man trying to become a back up TE for the Jacksonville Jaguars. We want decency restored and we want our sports back.

Unfortunately it’s nearly impossible for a franchise to embrace Tebow and all of his positive traits because of the overwhelming screams of the small but powerful minority in America that see everyone and everything as a political opportunity to spew their crap and drown out any other messaging. It’s hard to believe that a person that exudes positive vibes and lives his life the way he does can go from being a desirable team member all the way to a cancer.

Until the American people decide that they have had enough of this crap and take action, nothing will change. Wake me when this happens.

Then the door was open and the wind appeared
The candles blew and then disappeared
The curtains flew and then he appeared
Saying don't be afraid...
