Crucial was on with Drooly on WRUF. He said as of Wednesday 40 gators had signed NIL deals. Surprisingly only a little more than half were football players. With 3 gymnasts and a few lacrosse players among the non football players. Some were just free merchandise deals, for the players endorsement on their social media.

Eight pages and counting for you guys to argue back and forth about a subject that isn’t that complicated.

Let me see if I can save everyone some time.

1. There are the NIL rules that are clearly stated.
2. There are schools and boosters that have already figured out a hundred different ways to get around the rules as stated.
3. Many of the schools that will circumvent the rules are our direct competitors.
4. UF will do everything in their power to adhere to not only the rules but to the spirit of the rules thus putting UF at a distinct disadvantage just as they are today.

What did I miss?

Nothing. Where there's a will there's a way. This opens up a ton of opportunities to get it done. But sadly, we have no will.
