Awesome take cover! Got nothing to add as it’s all been said. Hopefully a change will be made without injury being the reason. Not holding my breath.

Good summary as usual Cover 2 . Mullens PC said it all. Don't believe your lying eyes and think that AR15 should be the starting QB. He missed some things out there, and has a lot of work to do and we need to coach him up. The chaos theory of coaching at it's finest. Heaven forbid that we ever establish consistency in any phase of our offensive schemes. Or that we settle on a starting QB. The "hamstring tightness" to AR15 is the perfect cover for Mullin this week. No one especially Saban will know who starts at QB next Saturday. We may even see Wilson or Kitna taking snaps with the first team this week. That is exactly what the HBC "light" wants.

Dan Mullen quarterbacks regress most years, tending to have their best years as sophs or juniors.

That says it all.

Superb write-up, Cover2. I was gonna say the same stuff, but I didn't think any of it.
Don't fence me in, but if we pony up true, Mullen is the nag we're saddled with.
Just excellent writing, Cov.

Cover 2 another "Breakfast with the Gators" start of my Sunday. Did AR-15 have a cramp or did the hamstring tweak? Thanks for a beautiful write up.

Cover 2...you and my coffee are my Sunday morning tradition, thank you once again.

Damn, it took till the 2nd page of posts before I saw any mention of AR15 hamstring injury...
Nevermind the game, it was over at that point, but moving forward without him we will be in a world of crap. EJ is such a stark contrast to AR...just look at his body language...speaks volumes.

Dan...are you just keeping your cards close to your vest before Bama? No tightends?? One token pass yesterday? I thought we were TEU...
I hope the lack of plays for Pierce was to rest and protect him for next week. With our stable of backs we should be able to dictate play and keep EJ from passing to a minimum. Control the clock and make his passing more of a surprise.
Having said that...pending AR's recovery, EJ is/should be backup...period!

Good job Cover 2.
At some point Dan has to realize all the wispering in the world aint going to help EJ. and even though EJ paid his dues and waited his turn hes not our best QB.
Not to start AR at this point is hurting the team.

AR was walking the sidelines post game signing autographs. No limp and no ice. He's fine.
Anybody that has some NIL money to give should consider buying EJ a scooter.

Mullen has picked his hill to die on. And he's determined to die on it.

Well, being the eternal optimist that I am, I notice that the Gators are leading the nation in rushing and #3 in total offense, so that is a good sign. Seems like not long ago we couldn't run the ball at all. Of course this is against cupcakes but still, you can't get any better than leading the nation and we aren't the only team that has played cupcakes. I think I heard that yesterday was the 6th most yards the Gators have ever racked up in a game and the 3rd most against an FBS school. That's a big sample size of games to compare to.

Sadly, we'd be leading in total offense as well if EJ could simply stop throwing INTs. Its like one play he looks impossible to defend as he's zipping around and throwing on the run, the next play he looks like a statue. I wonder where the line is between having two guys push each other to be better, and having one of them press too hard trying to keep up with the highlight reel.

Isn't there a coaches call-in show every Thursday? gatorkev needs to call in and ask the questions.

What does EJ do better than AR because there is not a human being on the planet other than you that sees it.
Why is Todd Grantham still employed?
Are you running a teaching clinic or an elite football team?
