I just now realized that we are currently the top team in the country in total rushing yards and rushing yards per attempt. Obviously, we likely won't continue to rush for 380+ tomorrow, but you better believe Mullen is going to try to use the rush to keep the ball away from Bama's offense and wear down their defense. If the run game is somewhat successful and we don't turn the ball over, then this game will be closer than most of us think.

On a side note, I also noticed that Anthony Richardson is 10th in the nation in rushing yards. He has fewer attempts than the top 125 rushers in the country. I know Mullen is stubbornly going to stick with EJ as the starter, but he absolutely has to give AR significantly more touches if we're going to have a chance. We'll find out tomorrow how much Mullen actually wants to win this game.

Yeah a victory tomorrow is probably meaningless. It'll be fun to celebrate. But it would more of a fluke. We still have the same sub-standard talent across the board and the same idiot coaches.

We beat Bama tomorrow... I'll be happy and would give credit where credit is due. Just like last year, Mullen beat Georgia, sure it was a schitty UGA team, but much like Spurrier put down some bad dawg teams when you are up against a bad one you put it down like Old Yeller. He deserves full credit for that victory.

No one is moving the goalposts, just saying if you think that means people should eat crow it just shows your not paying attention. The Gator Standard (Which Mullen claims to be beholden to) is about Championships, so far he is 0-3. A regular season game is a regular season game. If we beat Bama, which I hope we do, it won't mean schit if we aren't holding up the SEC Championship Trophy in December.

... which means, realistically, the Leghumpers game is the most important game on the schedule. We won't be in a position to get to the SECCG if we don't beat them. If we have lost enough where a win doesn't matter... then beating those buttlickers, just for ****s and grins, becomes even more important.
