Or move aside and wait. I expect AR to start SOMEWHERE next year and be gone in the draft. He is a #1 talent type guy. (Not just first round but #1 pick). He cant afford to stay and will leave at the end of year 3 period whether DM tries to ice him fuchs fuchs or not.

The last time DM tried fuchs fuchs with AR, by flirting with Carson Beck, AR decomitted. He wants to be here but business is business. He didnt raise hell, didnt talk shyt, but he isnt getting pushed around by a douchebag. He is gone to the NFL after year three.

It's my biggest issue with his hesitancy to go against the seniority preference. You don't have the luxury of time in college. I've heard talking heads saying things like "the future is bright in Gainesville". What future? This isn't the NFL where you draft a guy and have him for a while. The simple fact, and sad reality, is even if AR was given the reigns tomorrow, we could very likely have him for roughly a year and a half. That's how quickly it goes. I've been very complimentary toward Mullen for how he's built and maintained the QB room. And I do think AR has a good head on his shoulders and came in knowing he'd have to be humble and patient. So I don't actually think he is likely to transfer. But honestly, that's a very secondary point. In retrospect, we'd have given anything to see Trask another year. Who knows what we could've done in 2019 or last year if he'd have been the full time starter all of 2018? You just can't be so rigid with your system and unwilling to adjust based on circumstances.

That mindset is one of the primary reasons that uga and Richt didn't get a ring in 2007. They were the best team by a decent margin by year's end and didn't even win their division, largely because their running game never got rolling until Moreno was allowed to play over the upperclassmen. He didn't "break out" against us that year. He just couldn't get reps in front of Thomas Brown(I think). Finally Richt conceded after 2 losses. Then Moreno left after 2008. Probably the best back they'd had in a decade and they got just over 1 year out of it, and won nothing.

The old ways of the 80s and 90s where skill position players finally start as RsJrs. are over and have been. In today's environment, you have 3 years. The clock starts ticking immediately whether you want it to or not. I don't know how exactly it should be handled. But even though I like EJ, and thought he played well Saturday, unless what we've seen from Richardson is a total fluke, we're seriously wasting time.

He is living in the RSr past. It isnt going to happen unless the kid isnt very talented.

FWiW the cash price of an MRI even out here in Kalifornia is $400.

I'm no MRI expert but "2000k" did seem a little high for such a procedure. Can't remember the actual price but I've had several in my life and don't remember having to write a check for $2,000,000 each time.

Maybe you were just a deadbeat and WE all had to pick up that tab.

Unreal, this guy.

Dont we have an MRI machine at our disposal? Meaning, paid for and all thats being spent is maintenance of it and the salary for the team doctors already on the staff.

If AR starts now and next year then leaves, EJ can (and would I think bc CDR isnt more talented) start in 2023 by excluding 2020 as an eligible year.
The best chance for this would be an EJ injury. Not saying I'm hoping for one, but everyone but a few Nads :nutswinger:knows AR should be starting because he's just too freakishly good to leave off the field. It's hard to believe EJ could swallow his pride to the point of waiting his turn behind Trask and now agreeing to wait for AR to head to the league then get reinstated as starter.

If EJ got injured then he saves face. He was the starter but fate stepped in. If he was simply benched (as he should be) he would have little choice but to transfer. A position change would probably be the best thing for his future honestly if his goal is the league, but we know that's a damn hard decision for a guy who has NFL QB aspirations to make.

Oh you know he likes packages
I hate packages. Packages are nothing but scripted drive killers. Someone's either ready to play, or they're not. When I hear "packages," I think of the hot hand getting cold on the sideline while you send in a raw freshman to go three and out on a keeper for loss, dive play for no gain, and a horizontal bubble screen over the receiver's head and (hopefully) out of bounds.

That's retarded. He could transfer and play for someone else quickly and not have to sit on his ass. He could claim abuse and not have to sit out a year. Playing for Mullen, that would be an easy claim to make.

They dont have to make any claim now. Just transfer and play. First transfer is free.

The flipside is EJ CAN keep playing til 2023 (by excluding 2020) regardless and we know Douchebag isnt starting anyone else til he leaves.

The thing about going into the back room of Spencer's as a kid. You're like, I don't what kind of debauchery that is but I can't wait to grow up and try it.

Can someone rent a small advertisement plane and fly it over BHG on Saturdaty saying "You don't have 3 years. Play AR or he goes"?

Can also squeeze "fire foley" in the bottom there for the extra troll.

AR needs to start the rest of the year, be our starter next year while Evers RS and then have Evers take over in 2023 if AR leaves early. I like EJ and thought he could be great this year but his pass talent simply isn't there.
