Ahhh...so your saying he was on the field and should have been given the ball instead? AND all those people around you saw him too?
Listen... I know what your saying, but I deal in reality ... Dan gets paid alot of money to make his decisions. He doesn't have time to put it up for a vote. He sees both of those cats in practice every frickin day, and my guess he knows who the guy is he wants in is, and damn it, I don't know about you, but I'm pretty happy with his results so far.
No, that's not what I'm saying. People were actually happy with EJ's runs, people were smiling and laughing when they said it.

Delance & Reese were out for significant portions last night - allowing Tarquin & Braun to get a lot of snaps. I want to see the snap count chart and see how much they played. The OL is in pretty good shape right now. Eguakun got banged up too.
Other than seniority, there is zero excuse why Braun isn't on the field every play. If he is not our second best offensive lineman then he's our third best.

I was at the game last night. One thing I noticed in the 2nd half is that Tennessee was dragging ass. They were flat exhausted. Our depth and conditioning seemed to make a big difference.
save that thought. I will get back with you.

Great recap, Cover. As usual!

There are 2 things that really stood out to me in last night’s game: the play of the O line, and Dan’s redzone playcalling. Other than a few hiccups, that was the best I’ve seen from Dan near the goal line. We oftentimes look like a Chinese fire drill the closer we get to scoring, but Dan did well. I’m hopeful that he can continue to improve. If he could only show some improvements with his coaching staff…

I like what CDM said in the presser - he is still learning to call plays with Emory at QB1.

I’m considered a pumper around here, and after reading this post, I’m embarrassed for you.

How long has EJ been here? 4 or so years. And if everyone talks about how coaches see guys in practice everyday, one would think Cousin Eddie would be beyond the learning curve. When I was in K thru 12, those people were called "Remedial"

Burney is not capable of doing anything right . The only reason he plays is because he knows where to
Be most of the time , but doesn’t have the ability to actually make the tackle , deflect the pass or
Make any play whatsoever. It should be Moon, Hopper and Diabate that get the lions share of playing time . Backer play was poor, and must be much much better against a physical bunch next Saturday. For me it’s very frustrating watching our linebackers play . We guess then hesitate and generally play like we don’t know what the assignment is .

McDaniel with a big bust . He’s simply not ready . I can’t recall if it was him or not when they missed the alone tight end down the sideline . Whether we are in year one against Charleston Southern or year four against the vols it seems every game there is a receiver on at least one occasion that is completely uncovered by our defense . Regardless of if we are playing upperclassmen or young guys . It’s on fat Todd . Every game we can get on a bust . Just a matter of of the opponent misses or hits . Todd sucks and it’s hard to believe the son of a bitch is still here .

We don’t play good team defense . Travez consistently lets a receiver or ball carrier outside of
Him . It’s his job to keep contain and not let anything outside him on these bubbles . He can’t get it done and simply should not get snaps over Perkins . Travez effort also sucked on the first screen burney looked like **** on trying to stop . Travez tackle attempt was even worse. Should be an embarrassing film review for him .

Few qualms on the offense . Copeland fumble was a real good play by Taylor . Changed the game a bit for them to keep them around for a few minutes otherwise we are up 10 at half . Still Copeland can’t put it on the ground . We generally did a good
Job moving the ball . Just need to have the same urgency throughout the ball game we did in the second half .

Dan got paid a lot of money to habe Trash, Pitts and Kadarius on the bench for years.

And to lose to Corndwags scout team.

Kintucky

And South Alabama.

Burney is not capable of doing anything right .
Burney is a safety playing TE who hasnt been developed by a Dwag GA pretending to be a real coach who hasnt developed ANY LBs. Our LBs play jas been trash all along.

The rest of our LBs are "See Ball Hit Ball". This isnt SEC level LB play.

McDaniel with a big bust . He’s simply not ready . I can’t recall if it was him or not when they missed the alone tight end down the sideline . .
Not sure if we're thinking about the same play. I only remember people in the box getting fired up about McDaniel one time. Of course they got pissed at the wrong player, as is common. They just scream at the closest player on the TV screen.

it was a fairly short pass to an inside receiver where the cornerback got blocked and gave up the edge.

That is a cornerback error not a safety error. the cornerback cannot get sucked inside on that, and has to maintain the edge and force it back inside to the safeties and the other backside pursuit.

perhaps there was another play. I don't remember it.

I'm in the other boat, I like McDaniel as a safety linebacker hybrid. the kind of guy we should be playing at Star.

So you're saying trust the coach?
Well that's what I'm gonna do until Mullenz breaks my trust by not fixing recruiting. Or until he breaks my trust by not firing a horrible DC that cost us a SEC Championship. Or breaks my trust by showing a pattern of playing seniority over skill.
So until he does any of those things I'm gonna trust him.

What if it is really by design?

Honestly, I don't think Fat Todd and Dan are nearly this smart, but just say it is actually by design.

Once the second DB came over and he wasn't going anywhere in that situation you get down. The time is more important than the yardage he wasn't going to be able to get. It was bad situational football. Even the Mrs was yelling at the TV before the fumble.

Looks like Dan Warner is back with a vengeance! He will soon start telling us all how rude we all are..:waiting:
