I never had Urban on a Virtue Pedestal, this totally human behavior doesn't shock or upset me at all.

Wouldn't surprise me if this kind of stuff hasn't been going on for years.

Winning fixes everything....

Is today his last game coaching the Jags?

That likely depends on the level of fight in his players. That’s at best a fractured lockerroom if the reports are accurate. If the Jags get blown out, he may not survive to next week.

Then we’ll get two months of tireless speculation as to which college team, UF included, welcomes him with open arms.

Coon Azz U. on line 1. They say it is an Emergency!

But me thinks Meyer might say no thank you to that call. SEC West is as close to NFL on a weekly basis as there is in college football. Leyer is more comfy at like a USC where perhaps he is 1 of 2 or 3 not 1 of 10

Meyer’s nothing if not a coaching opportunist. Kelly’s in the twilight of his career at Notre Dame, and we all know what’s Next.

If Meyer flames out before getting a single win, he will be remembered as the worst ever of the college to NFL coaching experiments.

Lawrence looks like a developing franchise QB. Defense is pathetic. Maybe 2 to 3 serviceable guys on defense. Meyer may be a jerk, but even if he was the second coming, he couldn't make chicken salad out of this chicken s.h.i.t.

Yes because he is doing such a great job building a winning culture, winning the locker room, and building the program back brick by brick through leadership and example. Anyone can see it's only a matter or when, not if he will have them making a deep run in the playoffs.

Wait, no, check that. Turns out he is shltting the bed repeatedly, a laughingstock mocked by his players and fans and almost certainly going to get fired without a single win.

Yep all that's true. Team still stinks with a great HC.

This is nothing on Leyer, but I just saw the Fags have lost 20 games in a row. I had no idea being that I don;t give 2 shyts about the NFL and it's political football. Be that as it may, where is John McKay when you need him?

This is why some jobs like uf and other blue bloods are better than most if not all nfl jobs. In college you can have the most talented roster every Saturday. In the NFL there's obviously a salary cap to create parity. He could have stayed at UF or osu forever and continued to dominate and be a big fish in a small pond.

Mayer was asked why on a failed fourth down only four inches from the end zone he didn’t call a sneak for his 6-foot-6 quarterback.

“He’s not quite comfortable with that yet.”
