I honestly was coming around on him, even though he had that tweet last season in the SEC title game to the effect of "Florida fans should be excited about 2021 if the SEC Title game is still worth watching in the 4th"...while UF was down multiple scores and knowing we were losing most of our playmakers.

Also, I can't think of a single game where Emory just came in and handed it off. As I said elsewhere, against Vandy 2019 (and I tweeted this at Goldkamp when he made a similar statement) EJ was throwing bombs towards the South Endzone in the final minutes of the game. But if someone could actually show me a game we put in EJ just to hand it off during the final minutes I'll hang up and listen.

Mullen was never going to “survive” here at UF. He’s an 8-4 coach and that’s all he’ll ever be. The only question there’s ever been is how long he would last before being fired. I suspect they’ll force his hand to make some staff changes and he’ll make it to 2022. Then he’ll do what he does and get canned about this time next year.
