Mullen didn't think Matt Corral could run his offense

I don’t care what anyone thinks of the kid but I’m pretty sure he could have done it.

He had 30 carries for 195 yards yesterday. Added 231 yards and 2 TD’s in the air.

5 yards from a 200/200 game.

One thing is abundantly clear: Mullen is awful (and I mean AWFUL) at QB evals

Russell over Dak
Franks over Trask
Emory over AR
Emory over Corrall

Is what it is at this point

Also, think of all the sh!tty staff he continues to keep instead of trying to upgrade.

He's terrible with QB's. His reputation as a "QB whisperer" is beyond belief at this point. Trask didn't run "his offense" either.

I always said Mullen is lucky as fvvk with his QBs. Generational QBs seem to fall straight into his lap despite him trying hard not to get them or play them.

Mullens offense is his identity. Running the offense his way is more important than winning. We almost expect this when a DC is hired as head coach-- see Muschamp for example. We are more surprised with an OC.

I'm so glad Mullen is the smartest guy in the room. Their coach used only one play to beat us. Mullen used multiple plays to lose. Brilliant I tell you.

In case no one has noticed yet, Cousin Eddie is a MORON and a BUFFOON!

On the other hand, Jimmy Sexton, now that is a different story.

Corral would lat about three hits as our leading ball carrier running inside in our QPower QDraw offense.

Scrambling isnt the same as running option and taking hits.

Even a pound of coke wouldnt keep him from being broken in half.

If we were devoid of a capable QB on the roster, this would matter. We are not. Corral is playing very well, no question. But our QB situation is with coaching and decision making, not the player himself. If AR had been the guy all along, we are fine right now, at least on the offensive side.

Didn’t Corral willingly de-commit when Dipshyt Dan was hired b/c he knew this offense wouldn’t capitalize on his skill set? Or maybe he met Mullen & realized he was a tool.

Either way, Corral showed some real smarts bailing from this staff.

No. We dumped him like the trash he is.... after not calling him for 3-4 weeks, and publicly courting option QBs. He wouldnt get the idea.

The defensive side is pretty offensive.

He decommitted because Mullen didn’t call or visit him for the first month he was on the job and was instead recruiting Jones. It was clear Mullen wanted him to leave

Its embarrasing at this point when they say that on TV. Everytime they say that I looked at my wife and exclaim "I never saw Tebow hugging Dan mullen, he was always talking with Urban."

And dont even get me started on Franks/Trask...
